I am not a fan of adding burdens to the commish duties, so we are going to use Yahoo defaults for league setup. Therefore, Ohtani is going to be two players. Adjust fire accordingly.

02 MAR REGULAR DRAFT BEGINS
16 MAR REGULAR DRAFT ENDS, Commissioners load all rosters
18 MAR SEASON BEGINS IN JAPAN (Dodgers and Cubs)
27 MAR "Opening Day"
Falling asleep during the season is frowned on, but its even more important that you stay engaged through the preseason. Your absence may prohibit us from finishing on time. Good news is we already have everyone signed up at Yahoo, and Draft Time will likely be ready for baseball this weekend, so you are probably going to get an invite to our draft by Monday. If you were in AAA last year, you'll likely be automatically renewed at Draft Time.

I see that I get the last slot. Just wanna throw this out there so nobody complains. The weekend of Mar 21-24, my daughter is in a horse show up in Punxatawny. So my coverage might be a little tipsy turvy. I will keep up with it as good as I can so please, don’t curse me if I am a little slow that weekend. Hopefully we should be done or at the very last few rounds by then. And yes, I am gonna shoot that damn groundhog for predicting 6 more weeks.

Everyone is now enrolled at both Yahoo and Draftime. Thanks for your attention.
I want to give us all as much time as possible to digest spring training news. So, I will start the draft on Saturday with no clock.
If all goes well, I'll start the 4 hour clock on Sunday. Typically, there is little need to shorten that, as long as many of us use automatic queues. The pace is about two rounds per day.
If somehow we don't finish by St Patricks Day (17 MAR), I'll make sure I activate your teams anyway, so you can set your lineups with whomever is already on your roster. I'll announce parameters for that activation in advance, if it becomes necessary.

Hopefully folks will be more attentive and/or use queues more frequently soon. At least they got their picks in before serious penalty. We will need to watch our pace though if people keeping using max clock. Need to do about two rounds a day.

I allowed maspero to swap the player, since little has transpired since the error. Only Victor has picked since maspero's turn. So, just want to make sure Victor didn't want to replace Reynolds with the guy maspero swapped out. I'll give Victor 30 minutes or so, then I will restart the draft with Perm Dude on the clock.

I generally like picking on the ends in this draft but it has a weird effect - we pick about two rounds a day which means my picks come at about the same time EVERY DAY. Somehow it worked out that mine come in the morning EVERY DAY. I do not and can not see a computer screen until 11am ET. When I check in the evening I'm still 5-7 picks away and I don't want to use a queue for that. So basically I'm saying I would have a better pick time if the picks were in the afternoon, and I apologize for holding up the draft every morning.

That's too bad, to me the draft is much more enjoyable when you don't have do the whole thing through a queue. I feel like this has moved along nicely though, good job everyone.

Heh every pick I had but 2nd and 3rd round were between 9 am (when I see a computer for the first time) and 1 pm MT. At one point I had 8 in a row between 9-10 am.
