One question guys... when did Tammy gain so much weight and start talking like the Undertaker? I think we can use one of the best chants ever created... straight from ecw ppv... "She's a crackwhore!" And I've met Trish as well, and was instantly blown off my feet. She's even more attractive in person than on camera, and she was one of the most down-to-earth entertainers I've ever met. And yes.. she does have the best ass in that pictue as well. I'd link you up the picture of Trish, my friend, and I, but I'm not real sure how to do it when its a regular file on my hd. Do tell...

I'd love to see the picture. If you e-mail it to me, I can put it in paint, and clean it up a bit (which means removing you and your friend----kidding, of course). Seriously, it would need to be on a web page to be linked here. Pretty neat that you've met Trish, and that she is down to earth.

(Chanting: "She's a crackwhore!")

I met Francine once, she seemed like she'd be fun to hang out with. Nice bod too.

I totally forgot there was wrestling chat here! Anyone else a little disappointed that its been less than a month since Goldberg returned, and WCW wrote his story as working for Biscoff??

It's ludicrous I say!

I totally agree Muj. Goldberg was the #1 face they had, and to turn him heel....doesn't seem to have been thoroughly thought out. Anyone can be a bodyguard for Russo and Bischoff. Not just anyone can be "the Man."

Yeah but the New Blood was in sore need of credibility and Goldberg adds that instantly. I mean no way are guys like Kidman, Mike Awesome and Chuck Palumbo gonna beat the likes of Hogan, Nash and the rest of the Millionaires. Now with Goldberg they are a legitimate threat. What WCW needs to do now is turn the New Blood into a powerhouse ala the NWO. And they need to be more unified. That's one thing the NWO did right. When one guy was losing they all came out and helped him. New Blood's too fragmented.

I gotta say I really hope WCW gets better because WWF is just getting boring (Rock vs HHH for the 80th time) and WCW has much better wrestlers (outside of Rock, HHH and Undertaker, but not his new gimmick).

6-9 With The Afro, you know I disagree with that WCW over WWf issue from previous threads, but in general I am a fan of all wrestling companies. Apparently, Vince Russo now may be on the outs with WCW, which could drastically change things yet again. He has made them a quasi-WWF in many ways, which I thought was a bad idea.

Oh, and Russo sucks being involved in the angles on screen. He draws no heat at all.

BTW, your Nitro Girls are back, and better than ever (post 28), but Kimberly is gone. Hmmm.

I dunno - I kinda liked Vinnie Ru. He may not be totally done with WCW but I agree it's been better the past coupla weeks without him or Bischoff on TV. To be honest the Cat as commissioner has been great!. That guys funny as hell and they've had some real strong programs the past couple weeks.

BTW - am I the only one who thinks Undertaker's new angle sucks?

You don't like the glorified "DOA" get up? Me either, 6-9. To clarify regarding Russo----I don't dislike him, I dislike him being ON CAMERA. He doesn't generate any heat when he's on, and he really seems like he doesn't know what he's doing (i.e.---poor actor).

BTW, love the Cat! Definitely needs more air time.

Mike D- I like the Kat in your fav league also! I love chicks with "different" colored hair (even if they are just wigs). Anyway looks like you guys are gonna beat the consecutive wins record for ratings next week. I still say WCW has a better product though.

I say there's only one way WCW can screw up what their doing: and that would be to turn Scott Hall against Nash. I just know they're gonna do it at Bash at the Beach. Everyone thinks the NWO will be back together but I say they're gonna turn Hall. I'll be bummed if they do.

Let me ask you guys something - is it me, or has the WWF gotten too in love with the "neutral antihero" thing??? Either be a face and team up with other faces or be a heel and beat up the faces.

Steve Austin seemed to be the first of this new generation, and it was kinda cool. NO friends, no affiliations. Not exactly a face but not exactly a heel, either. Now the Rock has that, as does the Undertaker, as does.......blah blah blah.

I haven't even seen an issue of RAW or Smackdown lately, but from what I've read I have a hard time with UT as kind of a neutral antihero type.

Another thing in the WWF vs. WCW vein - is it me or does the WCW always look like they're playing in a Junior College gym??? The WWF does a great job with their camerawork to really get a feel for what the arena is doing and how packed it is. WCW tends to focus on the ring and their entryway, and it rarely feels as "packed" or as if they're in the same buildings as WWF....

Unfortunately Species that's true. Over the course of the last year WCW has lost tremendous support and that has affected ticket sales as well as ratings. They typically sell upwards of 10,000 less tickets than WWF for their Monday show. That's why WWF flaunts it and WCW tries to hide it. Lately WCW has tried going to more obscure locals where neither program has been in the past and it does seem to have boosted attendance, at least a little.

Nice to have a WCW mark here in 6-9. Provokes good discussion. I think WCW should turn up the lighting in the stands to make the arena look like more than a High School. Of course, that may reveal empty seats, but still, the place won't look like it ends after 5 rows.

Species, with regard to your "neutral antihero" thing, I believe it pre-dates Austin. I think WWF saw the vast success of the Outsiders who were always supposed to be bad guys when they crashed WCW (but the fans loved em'). Remember how they allegedly didn't have a contract with WCW? Great stuff. Shortly after, Austin started to morph until neither face nor heel: the "neutral antihero" thing.

This has expanded tremendously across all of wrestling. It is a far cry from the old days. Oh well, as long as it sells, we'll continue to see it.

Your resident former World Champion (Ok, so it was only on Halloween, big deal)

So whatta ya think about what happened at BAB between Russo and Hogan. I like Hogan but it's about time someone stood up to him (even if it turns out to be a work). Also, great choice making Booker champ!

Very good turn of events, 6-9. Watch out though for Booker possibly losing it back to Jarrett soon. The Hogan thing caught my interest, and I'm watching any developments. I agree a heckuva work if indeed it was one.

Actually, I think they'll let Booker keep it for awhile. I think when he does lose it (in 2-3 months) it'll be to Big Poppa Pump. They continue to push the hell out of this guy.

BTW, did you watch Thunder this week? Kanyon was too funny giving everyone the Diamond Cutter. Even Buff's mom! I was laughing so hard it hurt.

Tuesday Nitro tonite, Mike D, so there's no excuse not to watch!!!! Seriously though give it another chance.

I watched Raw last night and was bored even though I really tried to get into it. The only good thing was the Rock giving Benoit the Rock Bottom on top of the limo. That was pretty cool.

I liked the limo sequence too, 6-9. I had Nitro on tonight for a bit, but found myself locked on the Phils (Schilling) v. Yanks (Neagle) game. Being a big ECW fan, I like Awesome, Storm, and Douglas a lot. They seem lost in the shuffle at times (although Storm is new to the league). Gotta like the Awesome Bomb.

Have you seen Awesome? He's now called the fat chick thriller because he hits on fat chicks! It's too funny! Storm won the Canadien..er..US Title tonight probably in an effort to get more over as a heel. I love the way they're pushing these young guys - it makes it much more entertaining.

6-9, I love it too. They are way past due in this regard. The whole US Title Tourney had more surprises than I've seen in WCW in a long time. Very happy to see Storm win. Some great action between Storm/Douglas and Storm/Awesome. Heck, Muta even looked good although he's put on some pounds.

The biggest rip on WCW has been pushing the old guys (do I hear has beens?) and leaving the young talent in mid-card wonderland. I still think they have a ways to go, but am encouraged. BTW, isn't it amazing how Kidman went from a brief Main Event stint to a nobody?
