like i said in the email... WWE fantasy froze rosters Friday afternoon as opposed to the usual Monday 7 PM. I think this had something to do with the Smackdown events being done over the weekend and spoilers leaking.

I've tried to move guys and balance it but the opportunity never came together. If I had drafted HHH instead of Cena, things would be different. And I'd have more points too! But I had HHH the season before and wanted something different............

Can someone remind me how Rikishi debuted in the WWE?

he started as fatu from the wild somoans later became the headshrikers.

Next he became the sultan.

the rikishi role came just as a spin off i believe before he joined up with 2 cool.

the weirdest thing about this is that they say both Rock and Yokozuna are his cousins! now thats weird.

In 1992, Fatu and Samu made their way to the WWF under the name of the Headshrinkers, along with Captain Lou Albano and Fatu's uncle (and Samu's father) Afa. The two were extremely successful, capturing the WWF tag team titles on more than one occasion. Samu would leave the WWF, and was replaced in the Headshrinker team briefly by Seone, better known as the Barbarian.

In late 1996 after a few year hiatus, Fatu returned to the WWF in singles action. This time, he donned a mask, had Bob Backlund and the Iron Sheik as his handlers, and portrayed the Iranian character, the Sultan. The Sultan's biggest achievement was earning a shot at the Intercontinental title at Wrestlemania 13 against his cousin, The Rock. The Sultan was unsuccessful in his attempt, and left the WWF again before the end of 1997. For the next two years, Fatu primarily worked the independent circuit and trained in preparation for a WWF return. And return he did, in late 1999 as Rikishi Phatu. Almost immediately he donned a striking resemblance to his cousin Yokozuna.

we can void the rosters in this thread.

After reading up on it no tapings effect us. This week's shows are: Raw Best of and Smackdown for the troops. We aren't scoring shows this week so that's not a problem.

The following week the regular schedule returns. Raw is live from Biloxi, MS on Dec 27th and Smackdown is taped in its regular time on December 28th from New Orleans for its regular airing on Thurs Dec 30th.

So ignore the rosters you posted above. You have a week to submit rosters for next week's Raw and Smackdown.

This week's shows have no scoring for our league.

Why wouldn't we score Smackdown for the troops? Did we score it last year?

we can't score it because there is no coinciding Raw. Typically the Smackdown is either a highlight show (first 2 seasons) or last year it was just a show for troops that had absolutely no bearing on storylines. they just try to entertain troops with fun matches.

And we have skipped the holiday episodes every year since we started if i am not mistaken.

Farn's right, we skipped last year's holiday week shows, including the show taped in Iraq. The previous year we held our Season 1 draft during this week.

Seems like we should skip SD this year since that's the precedent we've set.
