Notes
During the Benjimin/Maven match, Maven left the ring and grabbed the mike and got 10 extra points for it. The Match resumed and Benjamin won by pinfall, retaining the title. He leaves and Maven takes the mike again and demands a rematch. They exchanged trash talk, with Benjamin at the top of the ramp. Benjamin was not miked. Each got another 10 points there as I felt it was a vignette. Benjamin charged the ring, ref sounded for the bell and Benjamin got another pin. It was never specified whether the second match was also for the title, so no defense points for that one, at least until we learn otherwise.

Well, if they're gonna wrestle twice, let 'em be with the two teams at the top! What else is new? LOL

Email that Great One just sent to me and some of the other league members:

just an FYI on how the WWE official game scored that match - I got two PPV wins/title defenses for Shelton this week so...
I know thats not really the same scoring system or whatever, but its a good second opinion and it obviously shows
they intended for Shelton to get 2 wins (so yeah, Maven gets two losses). So 1 PPV appearance for each, two PPV wins/losses,
and 2 title defenses too is how they had it.

GO

So I agree that it looks like Benjamin gets another 10 points. I'm not comfortable with relying on the WWE fantasy game for deciding on our scoring, but in some cases it might prove the best way to confirm accuracy. Hopefully WWE will confirm it on Raw tonight or at the website.

I didn't see the show, but from reading recaps, if indeed he got a quick "rematch," it would seem to me that it would be the same as the one that just took place (whether the 1st one was non-title or title, just the same). If Maven pinned Shelton in the 2nd one, would they ever say it was "non-title" after the first match minutes earlier was a title match? It just seems to make more sense for both to be the same to me.

Typically, after the 1st match, if someone like Maven talks trash, they may begin wrestling/fighting again------but there is usually no bell. So this exact set of facts probably doesn't happen too often......

if `anyone was wondering this was the worst PPV ever and if it werent for the chamber match I think people would have asked for their money back.

It started out with the title match and Eugene getting injured (knee) and going from getting pounded to having christian fall out of the ring and eugene roll up tomko( which tomkos shoulder was no where near the mat) At one point during the match eugene is on the ground and tomko and christian literally stand there looking at each other not knowing what to do next.

MAtch 2- Lita-Trish About 2 minutes into the match lita pulls another graceful jump from the ring to the floor and hurts her knee and a minute after that that match ends with lita rolling on the mat in pain.

Then there is a 5 minute waste of time showing the divas at the pool (which they show again later) I am sure this was just a time filler.

MAtch 3 Maven -BEnjamin- STALL STALL STALL maven talks on mic. Stall stall stall then he threatens to leave eventually hits the ring and is pinned in literally 5 seconds. Match ends and maven challenges him again, benjamin hits the ring and tbones him and pins him again, this time in about 6 seconds. What a waste.

Match 4- Muhammad- King- MAtch started out with about 10 straight body slams on king and got worse from there.

BAsically this was awful and if the chamber match was just a normal title match they would have got some complaints I am sure.

Agree with all, Wiggs. I did have high hopes for the women's match and for a few nice spots with Christian and Eugene matchups, but obviously that never happened.

I will say however that from what I could see on TV the San Juan crowd was as hot as any WWE event I've ever watched, amazing considering how bad it was. WWE really needs to hold more events there. That said even a crown as eager to make noise as this one just wasn't having the Hassan/Lawler match.

I've been reading that the Maven/Benjamin feud never had a chance to materialize because their matches haven't been very good at house shows for a couple of weeks now and that it was a late decision to turn it into a squash gimick since it didn't seem worth it to try to pull off a good match.
