I say since we haven't heard from Bond yet, we just stick with these rosters and the trade goes down for next week.

I just realized I forgot to set my roster for this week - after making a trade. Any points I get from Bradshaw won't count.

mith, count them. I think we all know after your trade you would have started him. Especially if you have an empty roster spot, do you?

I've been looking around to try to see how we've handled this in the past and we've been very clear on the issue:

5/2/04 Farn wrote, "i say they would be stuck with whichever guys were active the previous week. So if he only had 4 guys left who were active the previous week then he would be stuck with 4 active.

Seems like a just penalty for missing the deadline. And considering lots were adament about this 6pm deadline I wouldn't shed a tear if it happens to somebody."

About half of the league chimed in to agree.

Then,
10/10/04 I wrote (in response to a rules question from Bonds, You should be warned, if you make any transactions (waiver claims or trades), and fail to post a new starting lineup only the wrestlers you started the previous week - and not the wrestlers you got in return for them - will be active. For example, lets say post 2 is your week 3 lineup. If you trade Tomko and Tajiri sometime next week for Regal and Rico and you never get around to posting a roster for week 4, you will only have 4 starting wrestlers for that week."

Unless someone can show me that we later changed that rule, I don't believe I should get points for Bradshaw this week.

I should be able to get to the S&S sometime later today.

as much as i'd like to give MITH points I think we're better off going with the rules we laid out in the past. If we alter rules at times it will make it difficult to enforce them at other times.
