Soooooooooooo.........

Big Show drafted to RAW, so SD! needs a 6th for the new Smackdown Championship Belt Elimination Match. And it's Christian, who apparently went over HUGE with the crowd. He is SO over. JBL wins the Elimination Match, but Long comes down to ruin the party and explaining he didn't win the Smackdown Championship, but rather the #1 contender's sport for...........the World Heavyweight Title, as Batista is announced as the final draft pick.

No surprise there it seems. Christian certainly adds a lot to SD and the addition of Batista helps make is at least a LITTLE closer of a 'draft' -- but I still think RAW got the better of it, as they received many more electric performers - some in-ring, some more on-mic. RAW is clearly a superior show.

The bummer thing is, I loaded up on my WWE fantasy team with 5 of the 6 in the Elimination Match hoping for points for a new Champ! boooooooo

SD actually added some nice twists to their lineup. Obviously losing Angle is huge, but you can see better matchups setting up. Angle was wasting his time, and SD's time, in a set up with Booker and his wife? Ugh.

Christian brings the "over heel" aspect to SD- something they didn't have. I don't know who he will work with off the bat, but it should be totally awesome!

Trade deadline at midnight tonight...

after seeing that Heidenreich and MNM angle I predict Snitsky is headed over there to team up with him.

Haas and Shelton reunited?

I guess they will post the moves after 10 PM when SD goes off the air...

Wonder what, if any, effect these will have.

Interesting how they're breaking up (or keeping apart) some tag teams? i.e. Bashams, Dupree/Grenier

My favorite: Simon Dean: Former RAW sponsor LMAO

WWE.com has learned that RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff and SmackDown! General Manager Theodore Long have agreed on a blockbuster 11-person deal that will likely have a big impact on both rosters.

RAW brand gets:

Mark Jindrak: Former WCW Tag Team Champion
Rene Dupree: Former WWE Tag Team Champion; former World Tag Team Champion
Danny Basham: Two-time former WWE Tag Team Champion
Kenzo Suzuki (with Hiroko): Former WWE Tag Team Champion
Chavo Guerrero: Five-time former Cruiserweight Champion; two-time former WWE Tag Team Champion

SmackDown! brand gets:

William Regal: Four-time former WCW Television Champion; three-time former Hardcore Champion; four-time former European Champion; former Intercontinental Champion; four-time former World Tag Team Champion
Candice: 2004 RAW Diva Search contestant
Sylvain Grenier: Four-time former World Tag Team Champion
Simon Dean: Former RAW sponsor
Steven Richards: Former two-time ECW Tag Team Champion; former 21-time Hardcore Champion

wow.

seems like they've destroyed the tag division completely with this trade, splitting up some really fun and strong teams. ugh.

and i hate that Chavo leaves smackdown, and any shot of him winning the cruiser strap goes with it. blah.
