0 Subject: Leaving the league

Sorry guys, its a tough decision but regrettably, real life committments are getting in the way of this league being the leisurely, enjoyable persuit it was for the first couple of years. Its still plenty fun, but I find myself less able to devote the time necessary to properly research and keep up with news to remain competetive. I'll remain with the league through the end of the season and beyond if it we don't find a replacement by then and I'l stay committted to keeping my team competitive to the best of my ability.

I'll also keep my duties as the league scorekeeper until the end of the season. If I do continue to manage The Flying Jalapenos into Season VI, its probably a good idea for someone to take over that task from me at the start of the season. Of course I'll be happy to pass on my excel files to the new scorer and anyone else who wants them.

I'll also add here that despite not making any roster moves following all of the WWE roster cuts, I havn't dropped off from managing my team. I've been sitting on my waiver priority waiting for the next Snitsky or Tomko. At this point I'm thinking I should have grabbed Hogan when I had the chance but I was gunshy. We'll see if passing on Boogeyman was a mistake too.

I've also made a couple of trade offers that weren't accepted. Unfortunately, along with the very tough hit I took in the cuts, the value of Shelton Benjamin, whom I believe I should trade, seems to have taken a hit lately, too. (I'm looking to turn him into two good scorers if anyone is interested).

Anyway, its been fun guys, here's to a fine finish to Season V.

sorry to hear that MITH. Wish you could stay on for the long term.

I'm not expecting anybody else to want the scoring duties so I'll take them if that's the case.

wow.

sorry to see you bid farewell MITH. you were a founding father of this league, and when i could no longer keep up the task of the scoring and grids and all that, you took things over and even improved upon them.

you've been an absolute asset to this league, and if you ever decide you want to come back, we may have to figure out how to do an expansion draft, because i can't see denying you re-entry.

deny him entry? I'm already casting my vote to remove the manager of whoever takes over his team if he wants back in at some point. :)

Sorry to hear it MITH, but it's completely understandable. Thanks for all you have done to make the league more enjoyable. Those nifty colors are just too cool, and I'm glad I don't have a gay looking color for my team ;-)

If MITH ever did want to return, perhaps it would be the opportunity to re-draft so as not to throw upside-down the entire league....plus then Mike D. gets his wish of, at least for 1 year, dumping the keeper league concept.

Thanks again.

Sorry to hear this news, it will be hard to replace such an integral and active member of our league.

Thanks for everything you have done MITH.

Wow,
Sorry to hear, but fully understand.
Also really appreciate all you have done.
And as has been said, we'd figure out away to get you back in.

This is the worst news I've seen all day. Hope things change for ya MITH, and you'll be sorely missed.

Thanks guys. I wouldn't have put in the effort if it wasn't fun. Pretty impressive that we built this whole thing from scratch.

Say it ain't so MITH, say it ain't so. Granted, conflicts with reality always seem to set in at the worst inopportune time but I seriously hope you'll give this some more thought before you leave us hangin'.

You been a great help to me over the last year or so as the "newbie" of the group and for that I am very grateful. Thanks for all your hard work that you've done to make help make this league what it is today.

As one of the few lurkers (okay two probably, me and blue hen) in this forum, I would love to have a chance to play. I'd hate to be taking MITH's place because of what he has been to this game, but would love a chance to get in the game.

Great to have someone like you want to join slosh. We all know there is no one quite like MITH..... (lol)

Can't imagine there will be much interest as you pointed out. League members----take note of this capable candidate!

I think a quiz about his WWE knowledge is in order. Starting with something near and dear to my heart (errrr....and one other place):

slosh23 - who is hotter? Stacy or Trish? And why?

Alright, a quiz I can do this....

...No not this question. A pair of spectacular legs versus a spectacular pair. Jeez this isn't fair, is YES a valid answer?

I think it's the only correct answer, actually.

BUZZ! Invalid answer! ;-)

Breasts are WAY overrated.

I'll take the perfect tummy/hips/ass/thighs over the perfect rack any day of the week. You can BUY a nice rack - but not everyone can be blessed with the legs/ass/hips of Stacy.

Anyone else noticed Stacy's actually gotten a little curvier in the hips....i.e. she's maturing from such a young girl to a woman? Mmmmmmmmmmm.........she wears it so well. Stacy, baby...come to Papa.
