I went to the video store with my boys for McMahon's "Special Announcement", then returned to see Hardy in the ring. I presume the announcement was that Hardy is back and gets a match with Edge at Summerslam?

I did catch the Michaels/'Larry King' promo. I cracked up, but it was SEVERAL minutes too long, BROTHER.
I do like what Chris Jericho's been doing, however. He looks more interested now than he's been in a while. Of course a title shot leading up to the 2nd biggest PPV of the year will do that -- but it's just cool what a motivated (and signed) Jericho can do on TV and in the ring.

a friend of mine was at the show, and called it awful. she said that when Fatanka is the highlight of the show, you're in for a bad one.
as for Rob Conway, i saw 100s of guys dressed just like him at NYC's Gay Pride Parade in june. that gimmick is more homosexual than any of the faux-gay gimmicks the WWE has ever done.

I saw Conway's match, but not the intro or whatever. Outside of the outfit, was there any 'explanation' of what his new gimmick is? Is it another narcissistic thing? Or was it battle of the porn stars or something?
Conway's in great shape -- got to give him that. Must've been the outfit that did it for me ;-)

Th explanation was the quick, pre-taped bit Farn referenced in the opening post......it was as he approached or entered the ring. The "Con" man. Weak. Wonder if Bill Gunn will come back to be his partner. ;)
