- Sharmell got 3 for the jerker, 5 for introducing Booker, and 5 for interferance.
- Booker and Benoit got 10 each for a no contest. Neither won so it has to be scored that.
- Booker did not get 10 for defending because well, he didn't retain it. But this can probably be debated.
- I didn't give Kennedy any points for intro'ing himself. I'm not sure if we are doing that or not so I'll leave that up to everybody.
- Mercury got 5 for interferance. Nitro never interfered.
- Masters and Carlito got 5 for their initial appearance and 5 for their interferance
- gave 5 to Holly Benoit, Animal, and Heidenreich for coming to the ring when the Raw guys attacked
- gave no points for the final battle because every superstar on both rosters would get 5 and its not worth the effort when no roster would have an advantage. Besides, I'm not pausing my tape to see what guys did what. By law of the scoring system every person on both rosters would get 5 and no more.

Kennedy's intro needs to be compared to Cena's prematch raps. I think the introduction is part of a normal match whereas Cena's prematch raps were more like promos and THEN we got on with the match.
So I vote for zero points awarded for your own personal introduction.
And I will score Smackdown next week so just so everyone knows.

granted, i own Kennedy.
but it's him introducing himself. that, in itself, is not part of a "normal" match...

I asked in 2 different threads and this will now make 3, (guessing people are on Thanksgiving vacation or something) - and seeing as how I am going to try and score Smackdown I need to know - Are we scoring the live Smackdown special on Tuesday night?

I honestly have no idea GO. Technically we score Raw and Smackdown. This is labeled Smackdown so I guess we have to?
I watched the PPV tonight but I'm going to wait to download the video before I score it. How do we want to score the finish with Taker? How do we award points to those guys? Oh, and do we give points to the lockerroom guys who applauded the guys heading for the ring for the 5 on 5? Do just the 10 get points? Or does the entire lockerroom?

A couple of things,
1) i believe kennedy should get the points. It is the same as grenier singing the anthem.
2) I believe we need to score the tuesday special. It is a legit show.
3) didnt see the ppv so I dont know what happened with taker.

i got the webcast... i will email you my password if you want to go to the Instant Replay! :)
This Kennedy thing is tough.. I see a Cena on the way to the ring rap as a promo. Did we give La Resistance points? I don't remeber.I guess that would be a good comparison.
I guess I just don't see Kennedy's intros as something that occurs seperate from the context of a standard match. i.e. if a guy is standing in the ring talking trash before the match actually gets underway, we don't give him extra points, cause its considered part of the context of the match. And having your hometown and height and weight seems to me a traditional part of a match. Now if he turned and said I am gonna kick Matt Hardy's butt - i guess I would see that as a promo. But then we have a grey area based on what exactly he says and thats probably even worse...
I don't really care too much on that one though, more or less neutral. Just trying to offer a point of view.

I say no points for backstage random guys, there was no focus on any specific individual back there... and frankly since it was the entire lockeroom for both sides it doesn't matter cause everybodies scores would equal out.
I don't know if we award points for "the walk" to the ring... but if its been done previously then I say we award the 10 guys only. Did i.e. Goldberg get points for his walk to the ring?
Smackdown lockeroom comes out to celebrate with Orton... again, no focus on anyone in particular or speaking of any sort. Just standing around high fiving etc. I would be more inclined to award this than the backstage part, but still lean towards no.

1. If the "show" is being aired(TV) on Tuesday and is being promoted as a Smackdown Special I think it should be scored.
2. As to Kennedy's intros, if the guy is given the mic in the ring I think it should be scored. Basically I think the determining factor is that the wrestler has the mic in the ring (ie Granier and the National Anthem, or any wrestler that comes out talks smack and then has his match).

we always give points to the guys as they walk to the stage. so those 10 would get it for sure.
the problem with the Taker piece is that he beat up a handful of guys. do they get points and nobody else?

"we always give points to the guys as they walk to the stage."------confused by that. Not sure exactly what occurred though. Were they part of a promo? Did they interfere in a match?

whenever guys are show backstage preparing to head for the ring for a match they have always received 2 points on a TV show. Not sure where it started but it was decided.
