I just bought the video game... anyone else got it? I would love to whoop up on someone online once its all set up.
A review will be provided once I get into the game a little more. I know for one thing I am impressed with create a player and create a ring entrance thus far. You can even pick where you want the cameras to film your entrance from and the lighting in the arena (i.e. the way the arena turns purple for Taker)... not just music and video. |

There is a GM mode - where you control your roster, make matches, check revenues etc.
That looks interesting.
You can also trade created wrestlers online and make up your own title belts and defend them vs. all comers!

We (boys and I) rented it and have enjoyed the story mode and creation modes. Maybe I didn't get far enough into other PS2 WWE titles, but I love the detail in which you can create your entrance, with music and pyro and the whole 9 yards. You can even have them do the same moves as a specific wrestler on the stage, down the ramp, or in the ring. My boys like to mess with established wrestlers' entrances, like making Kane do what Eugene does in the ring (waving enthusiastically and whatnot) which was freaking hilarious the first time I saw it.
Of course, my guy is a heel. :) Loves to fight dirty.

adhoo----former league member here----has the game and says it blows away all prior versions. He and I have been playing them for years, and I mean way to before the WWE(F) even put one out. I haven't played this one yet.......I did tell adhoo GO was a possible online victim. (lol)

I just rented this game and played alot, I got to the royal rumble and the it started over. Is that as far as you can go with it?

No. Season mode usually ends at Wrestlemania.
