I have to admit I'm relatively stunned by the Cena win. Although in fairness it became pretty evident with the way they previewed it, showing how Cena isn't too well liked now and how he was fighting an uphill fight against the odds on favorite, HHH. But for HHH to put over Cena in the main event at WM? That surprised me. Kudos to both HHH and VKM.

I was shocked.
Did you see the looks on some of the faces in the crowd? They were like, WTF?!? No ovation whatsoever.
HHH/Cena interacted well between wrestling/brawling than they did doing actual moves.
Matches that stole the show:
- MITB: Okay, a ladder match always has it's opportunities for big spots, and this was no exception. While there have been cleaner ladder matches, there were lots of great spots - Shelton running up the ladder for a moonsault onto 3 guys rocked.
- Edge/Foley: Again, you're hardcore so expect some hardcore bumps. Spear through the ropes onto a burning table was just cool.
- "Freaks" promo. I laughed my f'ing ass off when Sharmell asked "Why have you been attracting all of these freaks lately" (something to that effect), and they walk through the back to see Eugene, Birchill, Snitsky (that was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!) and Goldust. GREAT, hilarious promo.
- Mickie James rocks. She's amongst the best actors in the damn company. Great facial expressions, great at getting reactions in the natural flow of the match. Great job working the leg, and great to see an actual wrestling match out of the ladies. Victoria may be more seasoned in certain in-ring aspects, but Mickie plays the part, magnifies the story as well as putting moves together. Loved it, and love that she's champ.
- Say what you want about VKM, but when the lights are shining bright he delivers, and isn't afraid of doing damage to himself in the process (Shane's the same way). That elbow through the table from a 15 foot ladder was freakin' great.

i was a bit too preoccupied with the Ring of Honor Triple Shot in Detroit and Chicago, Thu-Sat, where i saw some of the best wrestling ever on american soil...

I hear the ROH Tripleshot was pretty damn good.
But Tree, Wrestlemania was a hell of a show too, I gotta admit. If you want to watch the webcast, let me know and I will give you my password as I have it for a week.
