- HBK vs the Spirit Squad wasn't a match. There was no bell, no ref, so no match. Thus the previous match, the Kane vs. Murdoch match (not Umaga since that wasn't a match either), was the main event.
Paul Heyman +5 Terry Funk +5 Tommy Dreamer +5 Trevor Murdoch +5+15+10
Guys we need to add to the Spreadsheet (Mike D, I'll try to remember to include that in my email tonight)
Jim Ross 2 points each for Week 3, 4, and 5 and 5 points for Backlash from Week 2. Terry Funk 5 points from week 4 Tommy Dreamer 15 points from week 3 Trevor Murdoch

Loved the line in Vince's opening monologue about Shane "surviving" the sledge blow: "...undoubtedly due to conditioning, and of course, superior genetics" -- lmfao
What happened at the VERY end? My DVR timed out right after HHH spine bustered Doane. I've gotta change that to end like 5 mins later.

Nothing. HHH just beat the Squad up and stared at Vince.
Thanks a ton Farn.

Its amazing how hot the crowd is right now for the return of DX. Once HHH started with the chops a couple of weeks back you could tell that the crowd was ready to go nuts, but last night the tension was unbelieveably thick. As soon as Vinnie Mac said I want to hear two words it was like the crowd was just chomping at the bit ready to go.
With a reunited DX who gets the turn points? I'd guess that even though DX will be cheered like faces, they are considered to be heels ... so HBK would get turn points?

I think it will end up the opposite. It looks like it will be a McMahon vs. DX thing, with the McMahons obviously playing the heels. DX vs. 'The Man', so to speak. DX as the anti-establishment good guys. DX playing the Steve Austin 'face' almost as the anti-hero but still the good guys.

> HBK TO POSSIBLY UNDERGO KNEE SURGERY - There is a possibility that Shawn Michaels will be undergoing a knee surgery depending on the results of an MRI that will be done this week. The angle with the Spirit Squad destroying Michaels' knee was a cover up to explain his time off WWE TV just in case the surgery will be required. With Vengeance only one month away, everyone is hoping that HBK will be fit for the pay-per-view since DeGeneration X will be reuniting for the show.
