Heyman out
December 4, 2006

Distraught by the results of December to Dismember, ECW Representative Paul Heyman appeared to be distant and depressed this afternoon at the North Charleston Coliseum hours before an ECW live event.

This condition was further exasperated by Mr. McMahon, who decided to send Heyman home. The WWE Chairman cited slumping television ratings and a disgruntled talent roster as causes for Mr. Heyman’s dismissal.

Check back to ECW.com for updates on the status on Paul Heyman and ECW.

So what is this the prelude to? Dropping the brand? Massive changes? Like this is Heyman's fault? WTF are these guys thinking? Was Heyman's heart not in it or was he totally handcuffed by WWE corporate practices vs. what made ECW successful in the first place?!??

....and announced on WWE.com a "huge" 8-man tag with Hardys + DX going up against Edge/Orton + MNM. I thought MNM was "One Night Only"? Not that I blame them as they are more marketable and valuable in a possibly resurgent tag division. Plus I can't be happier about the continued Hardy reunion matches!

LOL I have half of the participants of this match on my roster! I just hope there is a 'winner' and not a no-contest so I get tag match winning points out of it. I even have 2 on each team, so it doesn't matter who wins, as long as it's the Main Event! lol

But seriously, is MNM back? Are the Hardys back or is this temporary only??

VKM is an idiot unless this is a work of some sort to have him battle Heyman. But I doubt that since its common knowledge to TV fans that he owns both companies.

So yeah, this is stupid. And god I hope he doesn't Bischoff GM of ECW.

- Paul Heyman and The Big Show hugged after the PPV, and The Show acknowledged the crowd with his chokeslam gesture.

- It was unclear if Hardcore Holly was actually pinned with a three count, or if he kicked out at two. We received reports in the building that people live was unsure about the count. The referee told Holly to leave the elimination chamber. Watching the PPV broadcast, it seemed Joey Styles wasn't sure about the decision until Holly had already left the chamber.

- More on the fight in the parking lot after the show. Apparently it started with about 10 guys brawling, and about ten more joined the fray. It lasted about ten minutes. It appears the security was on the opposite side of the building attending to wrestlers.

- Believe it or not, Rob Van Dam's wife was present last night and was actually cheering "TNA."

- According to reports, CM Punk was the most over star at the show. Punk was the first guy eliminated, go figure.
