12/11: RAW TV Taping - Uncasville, CT
12/12: SmackDown & ECW Taping - Boston, MA
ECW will be aired Sat 12/16 instead of 12/12.
Rosters are open with the normal start/bench Roster Deadline of Monday 12/11 at 7 PM. They will also be open in Week 8. |

I volunteered to handle all lineup changes and perhaps any FA additions for Goat. I am going to use Species as my "counsel" and email him any thoughts about pickups or major lineup decisions beforehand. Hopefully this is cool with everyone, I handled it for Goat last year and it worked out just fine. He has a pretty good lineup so there shouldn't be much in the way of changes, just maintenance.
I decided to go with Khali on the bench because he generally just gets interference points and hasn't had a real match as he is more of a bodyguard.

Good idea GO. I deleted my other thread.
I also concur with your starters for Cliff. Burke and Terkay might get some matches while Khali is just 5 points for interference if you're lucky.
No lineup changes for me.

just so its clear I believe the Raw Christmas taping overseas already took place.
Are we skipping the holiday shows as usual this year? or are we using whatever the last official roster was before the taping occurred?

Well the thing is the Xmas episode doesn't air for like 2-3 more weeks. We can't really lock everything up for a month, can we?
We did score it last year (and did not score Smackdown's "Best Of" show).
So if we want to score it again, I guess we would just have to have a gentlemens agreement to not take advantage of prior knowledge. I'm pretty sure all the guys with matches are the biggest stars anyway, so I don't think its anyone we were borderline starting/benching anyway. And its talent from all 3 brands so it is balanced.

ah, we can't do it that way. Either the rosters have to be locked as of the moment the show was taped or you can't score the show.
Usually the Xmas show has no storylines so I'm all for skipping it and taking a week of wrestling off.

To avoid pitfalls I would lean towards skipping the Christmas show.

FWIW, in reading the spoilers there isn't a single wrestler involved that isn't always on their team's starting lineup. If we counted it last year we should do so again.....I could post mini-spoilers by noting what wrestlers participated so no moves involving those wrestlers could be done.

Farn - put a new roster thread up and put Vicki in on your behalf.
I propose we DO score the RAW Christmas show. We scored it last year and precedent has always seemed to apply when any questions come up in our league.
I put up a spoiler thread which has just the NAMES of those who appeared in the show (not who wrestled who) according to the spoilers. We can simply nullify any moves involving those wrestlers for that week. It will NOT be hard.

I'm more than ok with scoring Raw, but only if no roster changes are allowed from before the results appeared online. Based on that thread it seems like that really won't be an issue.
