I'll post RAW points tomorrow, but I'd like to get some agreement with my interpretation.
The Cena/Coach match starts with Coach tweaking things. When Cade/Murdoch enter the ring, the bell rings. By the time things are done, with Khali throwing Cena out of the ring, the bell rings and Lillian announces that Khali is the winner.
Interpretation: a mini-battle royal just occurred with 7 participants. I was going to score it as a 30 point battle royal win for Khali. Without any stipulation in our rules about battle royals with less than 20 participants, I think I am 'stuck' giving Cena 20, Viscera 19 and so on in the order of elimination.
THEN, Coach comes in and tries to pin Cena. I can't remember if a bell rang. Cena kicks out, but then a bell is rung when Umaga comes in and attacks Cena.
Interpretation: I will count this as a Cena DQ singles win, with DQ loss for Coach.
If anyone has any thoughts, please share them. Again I will post tomorrow from work so it's nice and pretty.

1. if a bell didn't ring, i'm not sure the second match is a true match.
2. regarding the battle royal, i think we have to adjust accordingly on the fly, and give the next set of guys 7 points, 6 points, etc etc.

Reading this recap below confirms my original interpretation while watching the show. Barring some strong dissent/explanation to the contrary, I am going in this direction.
I guess the scoring for the mini-battle royal contestants could be debated, but without precedent I'd have to lean towards 20, 19, 18 and so on down the line. Thoughts on that?
Recap:----------------------------------------- Jonathan Coachman comes out before the match begins and he says that while he cannot change the match against Cena, so he will give Cena a match first. In the spirit of the Royal Rumble, a number of wrestlers will enter the ring with the specific target of John Cena. When Cena is eliminated, that is when their match begins.
Match Number Three-A: John Cena versus Various Raw Superstars

Khali sends Benjamin over the top rope followed by Cade. Viscera punches Khali, but Khali knocks Viscera down. Khali with a big boot to Viscera and then Khali throws Viscera over the top rope to the floor. Cena goes up top for a flying shoulder tackle, but Khali stays up. Match Number Three-B: John Cena versus Jonathan Coachman

I saw it as Khali winning a battle royal and then a Cena/Coach a DQ.
Coach was essentially saying - I'll put you in another match first to wear you down, then we'll have our match.

Notes: - I watched the Mercury/Hardy match. While Nitro did expose the concrete and did touch Hardy while he was out of the ring, as soon as he touched him the Ref kicked both he and Melina out. We have discussed interference ad nauseum, and while Nitro touched Hardy it wasn't a punch/kick/whatever and him touching him did not then cause Mercury any advantage. Thus, I did not award any intereference points. - Otherwise, seemed straight forward outside of the battle royal as discussed above.
Comments: - Interesting promo by Shawn. While he's not breaking DX up (using DX music, DX shirt) he's out for HIMSELF for now and wants the WWE title again! The Showstopper is back! Good intense stuff and kind of nice to see him elevate a little bit when the company needs him. - Cena took a hell of a beating. That splash through the table was more than a love tap. - Masters v. Super Crazy? I'd really like to give Masters a chance, but I think my patience is running out. - Props to Candice! She's been working on her in-ring moves....she's no Trish or Mickie or Victoria, but you can tell she's working. Good for her. - Crappy announcing job, IMO, during the Hardy/Mercury match in terms of hyping their feud. If this was big enough to put on the card and big enough to have this "inter-promotional challenge" match, the Rumble match deserved a lot more hype. - Vince, unless there is a HUGE Trump-related payoff.....please, pretty please just drop this freakin' nonsense!

My opinion on Nitro/Melina. Think of this way, if they did enough to get ejected from ringside, then they did "something".

I'm sticking with my interpretation for now.....but I'm going to officially propose a 3-point "at ringside/on stage" rule. This would be for valets/managers/whatever who show up at ringside (thus having a purpose in the storyline) but don't guest announce, cut a promo or interfere.

I would vote in favor, but with the caveat you can't get those points AND interference etc. Its all inclusive.
