We'll get going again in the morning after Mist picks. We are actually not doing too bad.

Just the big shows are fine with me.

SPAM!

Definitely a dull time right now though. I'm gathering my group together for some pre-season strategy.

does anyone else think a Main Event run in is worth more than - say causing Crash Holly to lose to Al Snow?

If I didn't pick up heyman, I'd say that I don't agree.
Now I agree :)

Just joking: I think that it's fair this way. Why? Because it is. ;)

what's officially scoring on managers going to ringside?

for example: Stacey goes to ringside with Test. Are there points for her just being at ringside (including her going into the ring and prancing around pre/pro match) or must she interfere in some way to score points?

Same can be asked of Flair at this point.

Good question Farn. From my view, I believe actual interference would have to take place. They get the points for the various vignettes, but I think the spirit of getting points for matches assumed actual wrestling/contact.

Anyone else?

does her appearance at ringside/climbing into the ring long enough to look hot give her "TV in ring promo" points?

I'm not sure. My honest opinion is no.

But....an even more compelling question:

Remember Wrestlemania X8, when she was with the Dudley's? Remember when she came up on the ring apron and pulled her shorts up like a thong?!? Would you call that a "run in"? Hahahahahaha. I would! Talk about interference! Woooo hooooo!

LOL

Yes, I think that in that case it can be considered "interference" too :)

I believe the type of interferance mentioned by Species should count for points. Simply standing at ringside should not.

But what about her coming to the ring, grabbing the mic, talking about herself, and then introducing Test? Is that an in-ring promo?

lol

I can still hear Lawler at Wrestlemania (a line I agree with completely):

Lawler: "My favorite tag team of all time is in the ring right now!"

J.R.: "You mean the Dudley's??"

Lawler: "No, Stacy Keibler's left leg, and her right leg!"

You know....it's funny. "Smack Down - Shut your mouth" has a lot less announcer chatter than SD - Just Bring It.....except when Stacy is in the ring, then Lawler is oogling and JR is telling him (basically) to shut up!

Regarding interference....things like:

- an attack when the opponent is thrown out of the ring (a single punch/stomp would suffice)
- tripping/pulling at the opponent thrown against the ropes
- chair shots from outside the ring

etc. would all count. They can be done from outside of the ring and be included as a "run in", IMO.

In the Stacy case at Wrestlemania, since Jeff Hardy actually grabbed her, kissed her (lucky mother &$(%^) etc, IMO that is interference.

What about a manager standing on the ring apron distracting the ref so their wrestler can do an illegal move while the ref's distracted? Or distracting the opponent so his wrestler could do a shot from behind?

IMO, if it results in some kind of advantage to the managed wrestler, it probably counts.

Agreed Species, any advantage for their wrestler is interferance.

We can say that he doesn't get points ONLY if he doesn't do nothing at all. It's easier this way :)

If someone grabs a mic and talks in the ring, in whatever occasion, it's considered a promo.
If someone cuts a promo on someone who is on the ring too (but doesn't speak), the "silent" one gets points for the promo too.

How about giving 2 points for hosting the show?
