Notes:
- Scored via recap - Cena with match points (12), DQ loss, title defense (12) and backstage vignette (10) points. Nothing for him or Orton for after match hijinks. Nothing for Cena's Dad either. - Otherwise pretty straightforward

Sounds like Orton and Cena was a riveting 8 minute DQ finish. I'm sure the crowd and the paying audience loved that.
I looked at the cost of a WWE PPV on my tv for the first time in forever last night.
Did you guys know its $40 for a normal PPV? (I assume Wrestlemania is more than that) That is absolutey absurd. And if I paid that to see an 8 minute DQ I would have been furious.

Farn, thats why you gotta try one of these ROH PPV on OnDemand for a solid $11.95 - if you don't enjoy it - I'll send you a refund check! You'd get 4 of their shows for the price of one WWE. And a lot more entertainment!
There is a new one available til the beginning of October which is "ROH Driven" and features the awesome 1 on 1 match of American Dragon vs. Nigel McGuinness.
Then about a month or so later will be this crazy "Man Up" which is the Chicago/Project161/INSANE Ladder match PPV if you thats more your speed. There hasn't been a review anywhere that has says this wasn't the most incredible match of the year. Blood, multiple ladders, tables, BIG spots... Sounds like a Mike D show! I am planning on having a little party at my house for this show with a few old school wrestling fans. It'll be their introduction to the insanity.

And Rude - you said you like the more old school stuff and less big spots - so I think you should still go with the PPV that starts this Friday.
So No Mercy is in Chicago... is Morrison going to come back and they take the belt OFF of Punk in his hometown PPV debut? Please god tell me they aren't that dumb.

I just looked at the PPV's through Sunday and I don't get any ROH programs. At only 11.95, I would definitely try it though.

If you have InDemand then it opens on 9/28. Not sure why they are behind the other services.
