Subject: Scoring Change?

While I am thinking about it, what is everyone's opinion on changing the value of a Woman's Title defense for next season? Right now its the lowest ranking point total of any title defense. Actually, its by itself at 5 points, which is the same as say a Diva standing in the ring and smiling during a promo.
My thought is it deserves a little more value than that for Season XI. |

I guess looking at the grid it would either have to move to say 8 and be even with the tag titles or each belt would have to get a small bump, maybe 3 points, so it still falls last but at least has a little more value than an inring promo.

Spoken like a tried and true owner of the Women's Title! ;-)
I think it's fine where it is. In the big picture of WWE titles the scoring for winning or defending the Women's Title is on par with it's importance in the WWE as a whole - which is to say, it's not very important.
When the WWE/World Heavyweight Title is defended, it's typically a big deal....so big that you might tune in to RAW or SD because the strap is on the line.....but you're never going to get someone to get excited about the Women's Title.

ok, that's a fair point. But if that's the case is defending the Men's title really only worth 12, aka the equivalent of a jobbing tag team losing a match on Smackdown?

Well as you know that's in addition to all other points earned from the match. Considering a title defense will often be a main event, one match can get a title holder 30+12+10 for 52, which, IMO, is a score worthy of the event.....so at least without thinking about it TOO much seems reasonable.
Or, maybe it's just comfortable since we've had it so long.

I could see bumping it up to 8 points... its not like they defend it all the time.
We also made passing mention of having title match bonuses on the other side - for the loser - i.e Rey and Jericho would have gotten something on their side for being in a title match.
Kind of funny they both had matches end in DQ's last night. Gotta love how WWE really gives you your money's worth with definitive finishes on the PPV!
