- VKM was standing on the platform as we opened. No music and no entrance so no jerker. Those points went to Regal

- JBL started his promo in the back and it continued all the way to the ring so he got 5.

I think for the first time since ECW existed it actually paid to have ECW wrestlers as a whole.

ECW wrestlers killed Raw wrestlers in total points tonight. That's always good. I'm sure the Raw mid carders loved that.

Oh, and please kill this Regal "lights off" gimmick. Its obnoxious and stupid. Just like having to watch JBL wrestle (yes, I said that about a guy I own.)

I have the "gold standard" and 1/2 of the former Minnesota Wrecking Crew......Shelton Benjamin!!
So my score should be +37 I think.

Sorry about that Zyre. Its fixed and will be updated and showing tomorrow night after ECW.

Not only is it fast Rude but whats more impressive is that the west coast version, where I live, just got on the air 12 mins ago. :)

I'm pretty sure its been valuable to have ECW wrestlers all along Farn. Punk has been the #1 scorer two seasons in a row.
No RAW guys finished in the top 5 in the Final scoring.

A guy like Morrison outscored Triple H. Miz was close. Chavo put up some ridiciulous numbers to finish #13 overall in only half a season.

Realistically Miz and Morrison were partially Smackdown wrestlers.

And my point was that, as a whole, having ECW wrestlers hasn't been anywhere near the value of Raw or Smackdown. Yes, Punk has huge value. But the midcard and bottom of ECW doesn't score anywhere near as many points. Not even close

My bench scored 62 points last night.

My starters scored 72, including a total of 10 from trAshley and Carlito.

Well I'd consider Kofi Kingston mid-card and he's outscored MVP and Randy Orton til this point. (And everyone listed below)
And its only gonna increase after this weeks events.

And Dreamer has outscored Beth Phoenix, Big Show and Carlito (and HBK+Kennedy combined!) as you may very well know.
Colin Freakin Delaney! is beating both London/Kendrick. And Murdoch and Cade. And Cody Rhodes. and Paul Burchill. and Cryme Tyme. He wasn't even on RAW last night and he's going to increase his lead on all of them this week as well.

Kane, Punk, Chavo are taking up 3 of the top 8 spots overall. So if you are saying nobody scores on ECW outside of Kane and Punk and Chavo and Shelton and Kingston and Dreamer and Colin and Miz and Morrison then yes I guess you have a point.
But thats pretty much the whole roster. Stevie Richards and Nunzio don't outscore Val Venis or Funaki I guess?

Certainly some of the lower guys don't get PPV points, but as we learned with Festus last season, cutting 3 promo's and wrestling one PPV match isn't as useful actually having a match every single week.

trAshley.....lol If I had millions I would've dropped 25k on her before she got those lip rings though just for the 'I banged a WWE diva' cache'

Great points about the ECW staples. The lack of PPV punch can hurt but as 4th/5th/6th scorers these guys rock.

And wow. Kelly Kelly outscored Beth Phoenix last season.

So there ya go.

Delaney isn't an ECW wrestler. :)

Cryme Time just joined back up.

I'd consider Dreamer a top card guy on ECW. He's the one ECW original left and they use him a pretty good amount.

Let's let it shake out and see what changes in the next month or so. I would say things are changing on ECW. It no longer features ECW wrestlers and is basically a show where Smackdown talent can come over and if necessary Raw stops by. Its barely a seperate brand anymore.

Cryme Tyme just joined back up - but just like their last run, they actually wrestle once a month and cut (mildly amusing) promo's the other 3 weeks.

That is true. I can't decide if I like their promos on a consistent basis or not. I'm hoping they spend some time working hard at house shows and become legit wrestlers so it makes them more valuable.

I'm still trying to get past this Kelly Kelly thing. I can't for the life of me figure out how she outscored Phoenix.

I looked at her OWW profile and Phoenix wrestled consistently from October through seasons end. So it wasn't an injury or anything.

yeah. the problem is Phoenix went long stretches not appearing and when she did it wasn't title defenses. Many times it was tag matches and she wasn't really winning. She had the month buildup to WM with Mickie before that ended. But she didn't consistently appear. And I think in a couple weeks that will happen again.
