That was beyond cool, that was amazing! What I would give to have been there! I love spectacle and that was the most spectacular, well done, over the top, graceful and Chinese performance.
I can't help but think of the Salt Lake City putrid "Mormons on Ice" opener. What would Zhang Yimou put forth? Would he go heavy handed propaganda? Thankfully, no. I've been a sinophile for over two decades, have loved Yimou's films since I first saw Raise the Red Lantern and I must say, he was genius. Three hundred million dollars well spent.
