Let's get a fresh thread going with all kinds of chatter.

I have received a few offers for Edge. I'm still considering them. I may wait a couple of weeks and see if someone else emerges as a contender who needs a #1.

I officially just reached rock bottom.

My girlfriend and I are watching "The Wrestler" movie. She sees Rourke grab the mic in the ring and says "Oh honey, he gets extra points for this".

Oh the life of an RWF scorer...

I saw the movie yesterday and had to laugh at that promo because of this.

Great stuff with Necro Butcher. Marisa can dance for me anytime....woo baby. Interesting camerawork with so much of the "walking behind the character" stuff.......the best of which was when The Ram was walking to the deli counter. Very surreal.

Yeah that was pretty cool, and I wish TJ/Tyson would shave that patch on his head it just looks silly but Nattie was looking the best I think I ever have seen her look tonight as well.

For those still looking to deal, after Monday I should be prepared to move Beth or Big Show for keeper potential or a draft pick. Just want to make sure I have 2 pass Batista before I make the move.

I am going to be in need of a high scoring non keeper this season- would be willing to move a decent young talent- primo or kidd and a 2nd round pick- (GOs) for someone that outscores Christian and Dibiase. If anyone has an idea i would be interested.

I will be looking to move Beth or Big Show once I am convinced they will both pass Batista. A pick or young talent would intrigue me.

i'd seen the Tornado/Sydal clip before. Here's to hoping Tornado comes back from his knee injury as fun as he was before.

as for Hogan-Michaels, i'd never seen that one. that was GREAT.

i especially liked the oversell on the big boot towards the end...

Too bad Hogan was too stupid to realize what HBK was doing, he prob could knock HBK out with a real punch.

What do you guys think about taking a look at when a promo is the last thing on the show... this seems to happen all the freaking time lately and a usually non-main event worthy match is picking up those bonus points.

Do we like that? should we consider those main event points going to that promo instead? do we consider giving an extra 5 points to those involved in that "main event promo" i.e. contract signing, staredown whatever? or do we just like it the way it is?

To me it just seems like sometimes crap matches get the main event points through this loophole and I wanted to look at it for next season.

I don't like taking away main event points from the last actual match ... but I do think it's a good idea to add something to the end (equivalent to the curtain jerker points) for the final skit. Curtain Close points? lol

I'm 36 Beth Phoenix points away from retaining Batista.

But what people really want to know is why Santino isn't in a WM match. That guy should be on TV every single week.

no, by request of GO and approval prior to season 10 (I believe 10), the seasons end with WM and Summerslam. Makes for a big climatic finish. We then take the rest of that week and the following week to reset for the next season.

There will be a final - leaguewide - waiver claim processing at 4 PM on the day of the final PPV. All claims submitted prior to 4 PM Saturday will still follow the traditional 24 hour period. All claims during this 24 hour window will be processed at the same time - 4 PM on Sunday - and if you would like that claim to be in your starting lineup, that offers a few hours before the PPV starts, to get it finalized, otherwise they will be on your bench. If you are unavailable during this time, leave detailed instructions with other league members to post your roster and any moves.

Congrats to Rude - his squad really poured it on down the stretch, it was impossible to keep up and he dominated at WM25.

My season came down to the Ted Jr. debacle, that cost me several hundred points trading for him right before he disappears for his honeymoon and to film a movie. That bad timing doesn't happen then I'm right there with Rude last night -- and while I still probably would have lost, it would have made the matches last night account for the championship.

Thanks Great One ... I really didn't think it would be that close until you pulled off some nice trades. I was getting worried ... the title feels good!!

I think it will be kinda nice to go back to getting excited about points for people like Vickie and Chavo ahaha

Well I think the Wrestlemania Super Bowl did as advertised again, cause you used it to put the nail in the coffin and thats the way it should be. Its the grand finale.

I've already seen talk of Orton getting a rematch tonight, and that would just be dumb if it were still close and he wins there and I stole it because of the stupid rematch. Anti-climatic.

HHH standing in the ring to close the show is exactly how we should close the season. It was perfect. Except for the me not winning part of it! :)

We usually do keepers by Wednesday at noon so people can read spoilers... and then do the draft Thursday/Friday.

Rude, people will send you their 4 keepers. Either you need to total them all up and make a ranking based on the total number of points scored by those keepers... or perhaps once you have everyones 4 keepers, put them all in one email and send to Farn/Mike cause they could probably total them up pretty quick in a spreadsheet.

Quick summary -- take each set of 4 keepers and add up what those 4 guys have scored for the season. After you get that done for the 10 teams everyone gets a rank 1-10 with a #1 carrying over the highest scoring keepers.

Then that number gets added to where you finished the season also 1-10 -- so you'll have a 1 in that category, I'll have a 2 etc. Add those two together, and then that'll be the draft order highest to lowest.

example -- Sample of draft order determination

People can start sending you keepers now to give a headstart, and we'll say have til NOON ON WEDNESDAY to make any changes or last minute adjustments.

Well I need some help. I have the video of WM but there is no way in heck I can score the battle royal. Divas getting booted like crazy with no one even telling us who they were.

Unless someone has a recap site that has them in order we need to figure out how we want to score it.

I have the rest of the show scored.

Oh, and if you haven't seen the HBK/Taker match, see it. It was a beauty.

just wanted to say how great 'Mania was live.

while the main event stunk up the joint, HBK vs. Taker was one of the greatest matches i have ever seen live. probably top 5, and considering i've seen probably 1,500 matches live in the last 5 years alone, i think that's saying something.

Yeah HBK/Taker was incredible ... people forgot they were in hooters and were jumping all over the place. Why does Vince keep putting these amazing matches right in front of the main event ... No one even cared about HHH/Orton

In regards to these keepers, and I have already gotten a few ... do we know of any changes with the scoring from Week 23 (individual wrestlers) ? I mean I had to stop and think ... did Cena pass Triple H? I would assume not but there might be other instances of that. I know Mike D is doing his thing but I've already received 4 sets of keepers.
