Season 15 is upon us... several things to discuss.
Remember, we keep 2 now (non top scorers). I guess everyone can start emailing me there 2 keepers whenever.
Are we trying to get the new season all ready in one week? or since the draft is a bit longer are we bumping out an extra week? I don't think the two rounds are all that bad. Only 20 more picks.
Most Important Do we plan to score NXT? which needs to be determined before the draft starts.

How awesome was it when Danielson was saying he was better than The Miz and Regal and Punk were nodding their heads in agreement lol...

If they would let JR be the GM and then have him looking over Cole's shoulder each week while having Danielson attacking him that would be good stuff. But unless JR is swirving they aren't using him. Would have made for a good storyline though.

Well, yes, it does say that. But on Raw this week Buzz Aldrin said the offices told him that the new GM would be at Raw next week.

Carlito got the ax today but didn't receive the "best wishes in future endeavors" that most do. He must be thinking TNA if he is refusing rehab in the current economy.
Looking to trade wade barrett for a 1st round pick either this season or next. If it is this season I would be able to give up my 3rd rounder and Barrett for a 1st. Email me.

I was just heading here to ask. I wonder if its part of the storyline. Only thought would be he has done something backstage to get booted because after last Monday's angle it would make no sense to pull apart that group.

i actually heard from a pretty credible source that it's legit. no details, and this source has been wrong before, especially in things that i find REALLY hard to believe (such as this).

alright. i've pretty much got confirmation it's legit, and if it's not, some people in the know are definitely being worked as well.
apparently, he was released for the part of the angle where he choked Justin Roberts with his own tie. long story short, apparently after the Benoit incident, WWE wrestlers were no longer allowed to "choke" someone with ropes, foreign objects, or whatever.
Danielson broke that rule, although most people speculate he probably didn't even know about it.

Just awful. I have a feeling if Linda wasn't running for office they'd have just edited that part from the video broadcast tapes and told the locker room not to do it again. Unfortunately he has to pay for something he didn't even realize was wrong.

I guess it really only effects Wiggs and I because he has Jimmy. So as long as Wiggs is ok with the guy he claimed being Jimmy then we are good.

A month ago I predicted Sheamus and Nexus... and I think last night made it more painfully obvious. I was positive Sheamus would level Cena with the chair and Nexus would hop back in the ring. Guess they are saving it for the PPV.

I just realized I posted the standings but never posted the threads for each show. And unfortunately the sheet has already been wiped clean in preparation for the next week.
GO, if you have a copy of last week's sheet after you finished Smackdown feel free to send it to me and I'll post all 4. I feel bad that nobody had a chance to see the scoring for each show incase there was an error.
Sorry guys. Being on the road all month has thrown me way off my habits.
Just so everyone knows, Week 18's Raw was taped last night as well so the rosters are all locked until Week 19.

I'll go after Season 16 - c)I don't think Tree can wait on him, cause we don't keep enough people - so I vote no
I see him up next summer. Hope they don't ruin him. We were lucky they didn't kill Punk, and even "Daniel Bryan" was ok and I expect will return at some point. Bourne is pretty much the same except they changed his name. Tyler is bigger though... so I fear they won't let him fly around too much. Actually, you know who I think he's similar to? John Morrison. i think thats a very fair comparison. And they let him go, so hopefully its similar.

HHH's name has been coming up on TV lately... I think more likely he runs out to screw Sheamus. Or does so after helping destroy Nexus.
I'm still convinced Sheamus and Nexus are working together.

Ok, next up on my agenda is to sort out the future draft picks.
Before I go researching too far, did we carry over any trades from previous seasons to this one? Or did we wash the slate clean and start fresh with Season 15? Also, do future drafts have 5 rounds? I think they do with 2 keepers if I remember right.
Once I get those answers I'll get to sorting out draft picks so we know who the 9 picks in front of Rude are for Season 16.

I think for next year I'm going to propose we DON'T continue to score NXT (assuming the show continues).
I think we should cut back to just RAW, SD and maybe Superstars. The show is entertaining, but I think its leading to some unbalanced scoring where guys like Eli Cottonwood score 50 some points on a random Tuesday for no good reason... and he's blowing Randy Orton or whoever out of the water week to week. I think it'll be great to keep an eye on and can see all of us still adding these guys to our benches as we watch their development.
This is adding so many guys worth starting that is making trading impossible cause everyone has good starting lineups.

well...i don't think you make the decision for next season. you'd have to make it for the following at this point, as people are making roster decisions and such.
i would, however, be in favor of reducing scoring on NXT.

Well I don't think anyone is keeping someone with only 2 keepers who might be on the yet unannounced season 3 of nxt...
I know GO has a voting idea he wants to propose which he'll probably do this week, but do we have any other concerns?
Is every manager returning? Any managers who haven't actively participated that is walking away?
NXT thoughts?

I would say to not count NXT, but we can draft them and if they show up on one of the shows then they get the points. I am not fighting for this- its just my thoughts. I can go either way with this one.

Well NXT is gonna be disappearing at least temporarily because Smackdown is going to SyFy soon. They will only carry the one WWE show I believe.
But I don't know if they plan to continue with NXT elsewhere. That said, I still don't think we should bother scoring it. I enjoy the show but I think we should view it as a "minor league" where we all keep an eye on these guys, and even add them to our benches... but they shouldn't score until they hit "the big leagues" or at least show up on RAW or SD or PPV.
guess I don't have to worry about competing next year: Christian to miss 6 months.
After the draft I will be looking to move my talent for picks. Obviously I'll keep Christian but will likely have Morrison available for a Season 17 #1.
