This is not a replacement to the RWF. This is a supplement during what looks like an 11 week offseason. No one is required to have a team so don't feel like you have to create a team to keep your RWF squad.

I thought about creating one of these leagues a couple of years ago when apathy was at an all-time high. This morning I woke up and decided this 11 week vacation was the perfect time to test drive it. So, the salary version of the RWF has been born.

Below you'll see a chart featuring the "prices" of each sports entertainer. Each one has a price based on what I see as their potential to score points. This is all subjective so if you disagree.... well, I don't care. (If you see an actual error, let me know.)

I listed everyone I could think of who might appear. Inevitably new people will show up on a regular basis. Those sports entertainers will be added with an IPO (initial public offering) before the next week starts.

This league will run from Monday, October 17th to Friday, December 30th.

Selecting A Team:

Each manager will select exactly 5 sports entertainers. You can not select less than or more than 5. Each manager will be allowed to spend $15 million when selecting their 5 sports entertainers.

Every team, in theory, could have the same roster. This isn't like RWF where each sports entertainer is on one team. Example: Every team could have John Cena on its roster. All that matters is that you have 5 sports entertainers on your roster and you spend $15 million or less

Add/Drops:

Each team will be given 7 trades to last throughout the season. That averages less than 1 trade per week so select your opening roster wisely.

To change your roster, you can either post in the (soon to be opened) Roster Changes thread or you can email me directly if you'd like to keep your changes private until Raw starts.

Rosters lock each week just like the RWF (PPV or Raw, whichever is first).

Price Changes:

There will be no price changes for anyone. Their opening salary will stay the same all year. This isn't a league where you'll make money like a stock market game (Smallworld/TSN). That would require way too much work and lots of subjective pricing. So your $15 million will stay the same all year, just like each individual price tag.

Scoring:

The league will be scored with all the same rules and points of the authentic RWF. There will be absolutely no changes. PPVs, Raw, and Smackdown are the only shows scored. No other shows will be scored (this includes any random SNME or Tribute to the Troops).

I'll use this as a wrestling discussion thread.

If you did not see the ESPN piece on Scott Hall tonight, make sure you do. Its an inside look at where he is now.

"In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Matthew Korklan (Evan Bourne) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s policy."

This should cause some ripples in the RWF. Nobody has Bourne or Kingston but whoever they drop their belts to tonight on SD will see a point boost.

Ran in to problem. My PC got a virus. So it has been cleared and reformatted. I'm trying to salvage things but no idea how long that might take.

To make matters worse somehow individual point totals are messed up, which is why last week's standings weren't posted. So yeah things are in limbo for the sprint league.
