Congrats to Tree!
Interesting to see that the first four would have finished in the same order if we didn't have a playoff.
Disaster for me tonight. I lost Del Rio when I was trying to diversify Kane/Bryan (and was cool losing Kane). And lose Ambrose as a prospect by 4 points. Guess I can still keep him as a regular keeper but have to throw Cody back I guess for nothing.
So instead of Del Rio, Bryan, Cody and prospect Ambrose... I've only got Kane/Bryan/Dean and no 1st rounder either. Ugh.
Had they not booked a Del Rio match on the fly I would have been fine. If The Shield didn't have to win their match I would have been double fine. And if Punk didn't hurt int he first place they wouldn't have even had a match and I'd be cruising with a perfect prospect. Instead I carried a guy for multiple seasons and lose that bonus.

Things are looking up for Zyre with Rollins and Langston on board.
I suppose if we get all keepers we can do a draft this week. But we are not starting the season Monday. Earliest it will be is 12/31 RAW (if we need the extra week with the tight window to Wrestlemania) and I'd prefer first Monday in 2013 to be our regular pattern.

and I don't have a first rounder, so I can't make a deal this season. That really backfired on me. Thought either Del Rio would put me over the top or Kane would outscore him so I could keep him. I really want to break up Kane/Bryan cause my scores fluctuate so wildly based on them getting a match.
Then worst case was Del Rio was a better 3rd keeper than Brodus... but when Ambrose hit 100 and I've got an extra keeper anyway. Great luck.
But that's why we have a trade deadline. Otherwise I could unravel all the deals I did with no consequences. Gotta be some risk involved when you go all in.
I guess if someone wants to trade their first rounder for Kane or Bryan I'd be up for that. That wouldn't be taken into account with the whole "not trading 1st's in back to back seasons" cause we could easily just have you pick the guy and then we swap player for player with no picks. So its irrelevant.

Nailer wins #1. Congrats to him, he earned it with a strong playoff.
Nailer's name drawn again. Throw it out. Then Zyre gets called next so he moves up to #2 pick.
So first four will be Nailer #1 Zyre #2 RJ #3 Wiggs #4
Then Wiggs has #1 in subsequent non-lottery rounds. Followed by Zyre, RJ, Nailer, Farn, GO, Rude, Tree (not counting trades).
I'm gonna post the draft chart on New Years and you guys can pick whenever you want. I expect most will wait til they read Wednesday's SD spoilers unless it just a real obvious picks.

Nah, don't feel bad. We have it set up where we have playoffs... and then 4 non playoff teams. And then the non-playoff teams have their own mini-playoff for the most lottery balls so those teams have something to compete for and can't totally tank.
Wiggs acquired multiple 1st round picks so he didn't have any playoff firepower. And now that I think about it, that's a pretty fair and balanced way to do it... cause if you sell off everyone like the Marlins you probably aren't also getting #1 overall. But Wiggs will still be just fine with multiple 1st rounders.
