Our final Rumble guys got shafted a bit cause usually the final few guys also get the big main event points but not this year... kind of took some fun out of your guy making it to the end.

I also think I'd be up for increasing the elimination points at least up to 2 each, maybe even 3.

3 PTs seems fair for an elim

Elim increase seems ok to me ... but I think more important the winner should be worth more. Rhodes got 67 and Cena who wins the Rumble gets 60? Should be like 90 at least.

(Granted I'm aware Rhodes had 2 matches)

well, only looking at the Rumble, Cena outscored Rhodes 60-38.

Yes, Cody got 38 to Cena's 60 for the Rumble win. The Rumble winner starts off 20 points ahead of everyone else which proportionally is more than our other matches. And usually they are part of a few guys who get another extra 20 for main event.
So normal night he got 80 which is pretty damn good. We always could make it real interesting and give the rumble winner a flat 100 or something like that regardless of entry, guys thrown out etc. Would definitely put it on the line.

Just a suggestion: Bonus points for the final four?
Something like 1st: 60 2nd: 30 3rd: 15 4th: 10
10
Tree

meaning, in this case, Cena would have gotten 120 for winning?
absolutely not. the guy winning the Rumble should not get more than a guy winning the WWE Championship.

I see a problem with no final 4 because someone like Ryback entered 30- knocked out 29- which is 2nd place and scored -1. Makes no sense.

Normally the final 6 get 20 main event points. That's why the numbers look off.

Well even scaled back bonus points could be used for final four.

I'm ok with giving more for eliminations but I wouldn't change anything else.
I understand it looks odd that Ryback finished 2nd and barely scored but honestly, he entered #30. Its not like he went Ric Flair '92 on us. Its unfortunate it wasn't the main event but if we start giving out automatic Final 4 points, and then next year its also the main event, as Tree pointed out, someone is going to have an absurd night.

Yeah with the normal 20 main event Ryback looks fine. Those guys in the 27-30 range have such an advantage to get to those 20 main event points normally that we shouldn't really tweak to help them even more.
This was likely a one time occurrence that the Rumble wasn't last match. Maybe the rule change could be that you get Rumble main event points whether its the last match or not to make sure its part of the scoring. Call them something other than "main event" like -- Rumble Finalist points -- so it wouldn't be tied to it being the last match of the night.
The 60 point bonus in a normal year would have given Cena 140 point win and the scaled back is still 110 total - more than your average world title win. So I don't think adding more in addition to the 50 starting point + main event points really makes a lot of sense.
