hey, as we're starting to get into the home stretch, just to make sure i'm somewhat correct in my tallies here with bench players, can we all try and post our complete 8-person rosters.
there might be some last minute trading going on as people try to jockey for position for this season AND next, so it might be nice to know who has who.

related to the above - one thing i will try and do is post the OVERALL points per wrestler a couple times a month, that way you can see who is likely to be your number one scorer, and thusly, tossed back into the draft pool. The guys this is most likely to affect are Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, as it's the only true superstar deal we've had so far, i believe.

Tree, I am working on an overall points spreadsheet, based on the points threads for each show and PPV. I should have it finished in a few days. Included is every person/wrestler/whatever that has been mentioned in those threads, broken down week by week. If you've been keeping the same tally and there is no reason for me to be doing that work, let me know.

MITH - not sure what you mean - my overall scoring spreadsheet that i post weekly does have all the totals, but it's a team-by-team basis.
do you have one that's sorted by ppv, show, week, or what have you? if so, that sounds cool!

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Your spreadsheets (unless there are more to them besides what you post) only record wrestlers that are on teams, right? I've included every white boy and hot lesbian that mist accounted for since week 1. I'm sure there will be some discrepencies, but I figure this will be a valuable tool for everyone to use during the next draft. I also am not sure if you've been keeping track of wrestler points for weeeks that they were on a roster, but not active. I'll finish it up this week, and I'll need some help posting it. Also, it's pretty big. I thik I'm up to week 19 and up to that point we'd had something like 105 people in the tally. Considering all the recent new talent, I wouldn't be surprised to see it baloon to 130 by season's end.

MITH - cool thing you got going there. one thing i haven't done is track wrestlers not on active rosters this week.
i didn't really design my spreadsheets to record that, and once the season started, it was more work than i wanted to do to fix that.
that being said, i've gotten fairly profecient at filling in my numbers, and what used to take me 2 to 3 hours now gets done in under an hour, so i might tweak it a bit next season.
speaking of which - the season ends on the smackdown AFTER summerslam, correct?
then a week off, and things kick off with Raw after a week with no scoring, correct?

That's the way I understand it, tree. Drafting for this league took about 5 days. With 4 keepers for each team, a week should be plenty of time to draft.

2. do we recruit another manager now, or wait until the season is closer to ending?
3. or do we just declare all his wrestlers free agents after the season ends, and go with 11 teams instead of 12?

No, 12 teams unless we can't find another manager. Turns out the person I thought might be interested is not, so if anyone else knows anyone they'd like to bring in, get them to post. I'm inclined to say the new manager shouldn't take over until this season is ended, but I guess it really doesn't matter. In any case the new manager should be allowed to pick his/her keepers and draft for the team.
