Wow.

I'm impressed, and this is my official concession speech. It would take slightly more than a miracle to even make it close. You've done well and you've definitely earned it.

Thanks bh.

With three already confirmed in the PPV, and Christian most assuredly with a match too (can't have the IC title idle during a PPV) I think I've got it pretty sewn up as well.

Honestly your performance with Edge getting hurt and The Rock mostly a no-show, I think you did the best managing job this year. Haas and Benjamin were such awesome draft picks....I didn't even know who they were.

Luck is hugely involved. HHH keeping the strap almost all year? Christian in and out of the IC belt? Hardy with a title run? Nash getting such a push when he finally returned? The Hurricane getting plenty of TV time? Then trading for Benoit just at the right time? *Sable* getting a PPV match? And now McMahon with a PPV match? LOTS and lots of luck there.

It's been a blast though. I don't know how the old league was run, but I like the basic idea that you get points for TV time/involvement......with run-ins and vignettes a big part of it.

I still like my trade. I think getting Hurricane was good for me. I figure 2 keepers instead of 1 is big. I have had a couple huge weeks with Kidman and Eddie. Kidman turned at a house show this week. Hopefully the on air turn happens.

I didn't think Eddie would get the push he did, or I would have never traded Benoit. If I knew in the end I could have kept the Crippler, I would have, mostly being an Edmonton boy myself.

I agree, Kev - it's a good trade. I'm short a keeper myself - so perhaps I should have traded Benjamin to Species. And it's never a bad thing to acquire the Hurricane.

Edge was clearly the biggest blow. He'd easily have outscored Jamal and/or Al Snow by a lot. I knew what I was getting into with Rocky, but Edge went from a stud to a zero in a week.

I do think the "system" screwed me more than luck. Such a late pick in a draft like this can be trouble. Of course, there's no reason I couldn't have gotten Benoit and Cena with my first two picks, but then - that's why they play them.

It'll be a tough road upcoming, but hopefully I can be a force in season 2.

I do agree that having that big stud to carry you has been huge. I don't think it's any coincidence that the teams with HHH/Lesnar/Angle had a leg up going for the title. It'll be interesting to see how it goes with me having the last pick for season 2.

Congrats bro. I thought I was set up very nicely until Angle and Regal went out.

Summerslam and RAW were definitely the final nails in the coffin. Big nights from Shane (both Sun and Mon) HHH (Sunday) and Christian (Monday) probably extended my lead. That, combined with "The World's Greatest Tag Team" being shut out of the PPV made it an easy victory.

and, i'd have to say, that while i'm not 100 percent sure, i think i'm gonna be REALLY frustrating by losing Randy Orton...82 points over the past 2 nights may have pushed him ahead of Bubba Ray Dudley in overall scoring..damnit.. :o) i thought i had my world title contender.

peace,

By my figuring, Randy nudged ahead of Bubba, beating him by 20 points.

Oh well, early on everybody was being pushed.
Then it all turned.
Got to look toward next season.
