I know Orton is going to be a stud, but I gotta say, I got what I wanted from that trade. I traded one scorer for 2. Keibler is going to be involved in a storyline change, by the looks of it, and Cade got another win, and I'm sure will see a title very soon.

It was a very nice Raw. Anytime Eric Bischoff gets that many points, Im happy.

you know what just dawned on me about Orton is that they put him in that little angle with Cuban. Doesn't seem like much, but you know that will be on PTI or ESPN or whatever - and everyone in America is gonna see him in that replay or clip... a subtle way of pushing him but very calculated.

I also thought the big surprise was Evolution turning on HHH because he couldn't get the job done.
and then when he wanted the pin - and basically was carried through the match - thats where I thought it was headed.

I was (and still am, I guess) expecting it to come out that scoring the pin on Goldberg actually secured the #1 contender poosition. The resentment from Batista (since Orton already has his IC Belt shot) could be the catalyst to break up Evolution.

Also, that Mark Cuban bit was anything but subtle. It was like 20 minutes long and they actually bumped the Cruiserweight Championship match to Heat in order to make room for it. That's not to say that it was a bad idea, but it's quite obvious that it was a publicity ploy to get Orton and WWE some notoriety on 'legit' sports news. I've read as much at least two or three times since Sunday night and also read that it was actually part of some type of cross promotion as Taker was strategicly placed and seen at the Mavs game (in a Mavs jersey) the night before.

Yeah, I expected to see Tajiri in the PPV and was bummed by the omission. On a PPV, you'd think they could add the Cuban segment---and just keep it a little shorter---while preserving the match. The time constraints are not the same as a RAW or Smackdown. By not doing so, it sends a very negative message to the wrestlers, IMHO.
