Didnt give show points for being in the handicap match because he never actually made it to the match. I did give the 5 for the after the match beating.

I rarely watch Smackdown so I can't help with Rey.

But, I would argue that Show was a contestant in the match. Technically he was listed as a competitor in it. So I would think he would get credit for the points even though he never made it to ring. For example, when you see a guy stand on the apron and never let his partner tag him. The old "i'm hopping off the apron and walking up the ramp to leave you to get pummeled." So in my eyes he gets his points. (Did I mention I have him?)

Oh, and can I add, wiggs just sent me the Spreadsheet that Tree runs each week.

Everyone listen up:

Say thank you to Tree. All of you. Because you have no idea how much there is to this thing. If I had any idea I never would have offered to help. So, Thank You Tree.

That said, I will try to teach myself to work this thing.

In the past when contestants haven't made it to the ring for a match they were not awarded points as participants. I watched Smackdown, Rey did win.

And Farn is right on about the work that Tree puts in. As always, it's highly appreciated - and also thanks to Farn for helping him out.

I vote for Palumbo winning. I just think he is a great guy and deserves a win now and then. :)-

LOL. is the spreadsheet that tough? i just think i suck at instructions, and since i learned excel as i went - i literally taught myself as i was assembling it, it might be rather confusing and piecemeal.

farn - if you've got questions, during the work day email me at the above...otherwise, during the weekend, shoot for treesham@nyc.rr.com

I got no problem with giving show the points, I just thought i remembered us saying that you actually had to make it to the ring. If you give show the points just add 10 because i did give him 5 for the after match beating he laid on cena and benoit.

Farn, you are absolutely right, i messed with that spreadsheet a while last night then quit and sent it on to you. It is a difficult thing to run these standings. Thanks Tree.

Its the only example I remember at the moment, but I know there were others. Here's the scoring for Wrestlemania XIX. After being jumped by FBI backstage, Nathan Jones never made it out to his match where he was supposed to team with the Undertaker. He was not awarded points for participating in the match.

Tree- I think I have a grasp on a good share of this. The only page I am not looking forward to trying is the Top 20's. That looks to be work that will take at least an hour. The rest I think I could do in about 10 minutes. But damn son, now I know why you fall behind doing this stuff and sometimes just skip it altogether.

All in favor of giving wiggs this season and taking a few months off? :)

gotcha. I wasn't really putting up a fight. If it had been anyone else's guy I would have said "no chance". :)

I am really just hoping he outscores Eddie so I can keep Latino Heat for another season.

Farn, the top 20s, without a doubt, take the longest time...i'm at the point now where i can do all the numbers in less than an hour, and i usually set aside saturday mornings for it.

but all it takes is one thing (like my girlfriend waking up at 8 instead of her normal 11) to throw the whole day out of whack, and make it tough for me to find the time...

the rest of it is fairly quick. just inputting a few numbers, and a couple of sorts for the standings...

posting the standings, and the chart that shows the weekly scores and overall scores take no time at all, and for all intents and purposes, the top 20s were things i did for fun...

Funny how I benched Rikishi for the last 3 weeks or so and he has had matches in each of them and so I activated him for Sakoda who was averaging less than 5 points/week and Sakoda gets into a match while Rikishi sits.

Tree- bit confused.

I cant' figure out who is starting by color coding. You seem to just change the starters in your head without adjusting the colors in some cases (ie. mist, who may or may not have teddy long).

Unless I go back through each roster posting I am not sure who has who starting, or even on their team (because we all thought Long was a FA so Gunz grabbed him up)
