Ok, if you want to read the spoilers highlight the space below.

There is a Smackdown version of a Royal Rumble. Guerrero defeats Angle.

how are we going to score this? same as the regular rumble? i would assume it will be tweaked down a bit.

Is it the main event?

That does present a problem. Here's my suggestion:
Lets use the new Rumble scoring format, but not award Main Event points, and only give +20 to the winner, rather than the +50 he normally gets.

More banter.

why no main event points? That doesn't seem fair. If you look at the card its definately the Main Event, as the rest of the card looks like garbage. I was really only questioning how to score it. I thought Main Event was a given.

I think it should be like battle royals have been scored. However that is. There is only one Royal Rumble.

Because I don't think that 15 participants should each receive 30 to 40 points for just showing up. The ones who do well will still score pretty big. But maybe you're right. If we were to just give the 14 losers 15 points each for the loss plus another 10 for the ME, they'd all walk away with 25. I don't have time to look at this at the moment, but I think our new format, which is designed to score a major once-per-year PPV event (and might have been a bit too generous as it is for that purpose) should be used to score a similar, but much smaller-scale TV show event. I don't think a win for one TV match should bring a wrestler 70 or 80 or more points when he doesn't even win a title.

what i find great about this is that i just saw a commercial on TV advertising the main event of the next PPV...so i could tell you who one the the battle royal last night...lol...

Agree with Mike D. Only one rumble......but many battle royals.
