When do we determine our keepers for next season, is it now, or at the end of this week? Also if tree or farn (which ever is doing it) need help posting anything let me know.

As far as I know the deadline hasn't been set yet, but it should certainly be sometime after Smackdown. How about by midnight Sunday night? That would give us a week to conduct a 4-round draft and post our rosters for week 1 of season 3. As with the season 2 draft, I'd say that anyone who fails to post by the deadline automaticly keeps his 4 highest scorers, after his top wrestler is dropped. Also, I'll assume that last year's vote still stands as the rule and once you post your 4 keepers you cannot change them?

I think we decided that we were going to all send keepers to me and i will post them all when i get them. That way someone cant wait til everyone else has posted theirs to get the upper hand. I can tell you right now, my keepers are Rey Angle Batista and low scorer of orton and benoit.

and btw... poor Wiggs, I think you are gonna have a horrible year next season :)
you don't get any draft picks. Your next challenge is to win with 4 starters and whoever you pick up off the waiver wire.
Once keepers are posted - we need to make a list of available talent for the draft. Wiggs can you throw that together?
or do you want us to include our leftovers so you can cut and paste them on that list maybe? I think that would make it much easier, especially with all the roster changes going on.

i can do a list of available talent in the wwe, but i will not do it using guys that are not in the federation IE Bret Hart or Sting also for guys in the OVW. That is alot of work, if people want to draft them they can look them up themselves. :)

i was just saying we include the leftovers from our rosters in the email, and then you cut and paste them on a seperate list.

I may want to change 1 keeper, i will post it for sure later this week. It has nothing to do with anything that was discussed in the thread, but something completely different.

I don't really care, but i would love to get on with the draft so i vote before. But like I said, I understand if some want to wait.

Well we cant post our keepers til Tree posts the standings. He said he wont have them up til the weekend. How about keepers are due to me by Tuesday Morning. Then I will post the keepers as soon as I have them all. We then will decide the draft order and begin the draft immediately after that. If Tree can post the standings before this weekend then maybe we can consider doing it earlier.

Wiggs, et al.
remember, we are still in an active week. dont we still need the points for smackdown in the standings?
and farn - the numbers you sent me - did that include wrestlemania or raw?

Tree, I know this week counts. I figured we could have everything through last week then you could just add this weeks stuff to that and it would be done friday or Saturday. I will have the smackdown stuff done thursday night or friday morning.

Next week obviously doesn't count altogether. So there is no reason to rush everything in before the all important Raw Lottery - as long as the draft is done between Tuesday and the weekend and we can have our rosters set for the following week. (Say by 9 PM EST Monday 3/29, a small extension just like TSN does before the first game of a new season) note* when sending in your keepers please use this format to make it a little easier for Wiggs to just cut and paste the next step - organizing a list of top scorers/leftovers available for the draft and also for everyone's keepers.
Team Name Keeper Keeper Keeper Keeper
Top Scorer Leftover Leftover Leftover
So I think the most reasonable deadlines would be... Keepers declared - at the absolute latest - right after Raw this Monday 3/22. Wiggs then posts the keepers, available talent, and starts the draft thread when he recieves all the emails. Draft commences. Draft completed between Tuesday and following weekend - and then new completed rosters and starting lineups posted before the next Raw 3/29.
Sound like a plan?
