I would like to know what others who saw the show thought. My opinions were:

Thought the cena match ended a bit weird

tag team match was weird because it was too quick for being a fatal 4 way

liked the christian y2j thing.

RockSock match was pretty solid. Thought that they would win and evolution would split.

Evenng gown match, i could care-a-less who won. They were all HOT

Cruiserweight match was pretty solid, hope they start using them a bit more

Goldberg brock SUCKED My friend had a theroy, seemed pretty accurate Brock didnt want to get injured before his nfl try out and Goldberg didnt want to get injured before switching to Japan. Sucks for us though.

other tag team 4 way, ok, pretty boring though

Victoria molly was alright, as good as a womens match could be

Angle Eddie **** awesome match, wish it ended better then a small package but still the 2nd best match on the card

Taker Kane- about what i expected. Got to love the dead man

HHH HBK Benoit ***** Solid match I think the best one on the card, and HHH actually did a job.

All in all I think it was one of the best manias i have seen.

BTW, did you see Ultimo fall down coming out of the curtain before his match? then he got in the ring and fell off the turn buckle. I think he was drunk. LOL

I LOVED the NYC crowd sticking it to Brock and Goldberg the way they did. It really says something about the WWE fans and how knowledgable they are when you get that kind of reaction at an event like WMXX. A quarter of the people in attendance of this year's superbowl probably couldn't name a single offensive lineman in the game, but the crowd at Wrestlemania - the most commercial event in the most commercial wrestling circuit is obviously is one that goes out of its way to stay on top of news in a company that does not make it readily available.

i can't say enough how amazing the crowd was live. i have no idea how it came across on TV, but live, it seemed like a very un-WWE type of crowd. the people legit hated HHH, and really loved Benoit.

the shortie next to me was so happy when Benoit won that she was leaping around and hugging me and wouldn't let go. People hated the Brock/Goldberg match, although i think we were swerved a tad and i bet Goldberg is staying.

this was a great, dream weekend for me as a wrestling fan.

On saturday, i went to the Ring of Honor show, and it was a strong, but not great card. but the cage match with Samoa Joe defending his World Title against Jay Briscoe was one of the greatest cage matches i've ever seen.

then sunday was Wrestlemania. i ended up with a freebie ticket, and went to the show with some on-line buds of mine. one of the kids is in a chair, so we had to go in the VIP entrance to take us to the elevator.

we're winding through the bowels of MSG, and finally we get to a door with windows in it. a LOT of the WWE guys are walking around on the other side of the door.

the security guard leaves us with the security guy at the door, and we're BSing with him for a few.

finally, we're like - so, um, can we go through there and go to our seats? he says we can in a few, but they're filming a promo with Benoit and Guerrero, and sure enough, they were.

finally they finish up, and we get escorted in, and i swear to god, it was amazing. it was like being backstage at a movie set or something. all the talent is walking around, the seamstress' are doing last minute work on some outfits, and people are rehearsing their lines. there's a air of nervousness and excitement.

and there i am, and i suddenly realize i'm standing between Eddy Guerrero and Chris Benoit, while they, stephanie mac, and a few others are watching a playback of they promo they just cut.

the security guy says "hey, guys, i'm sorry. the entry way for wheel chairs is blocked by THAT..." and he points to a piece of equipment the size of a tank...and we're like "um, it's cool. we're cool back here. um, yea..."

and paul heyman is there. buh buh ray dudley said "hey guys, what's up?". Val Venis is there. everyone. i can't even remember everyone. Ivory.

oh, and Bill Goldberg. he's a freakin' monster. i've met the Big Show. i've shook his hand. and Bill Goldberg walked past me and i almost peed myself. The Big Show is a large man, but lemme tell you what, Goldberg is a monster. 6-8, 295 pounds of muscle is so much more terrifying than 7-2 and 500 pound of blubber. i mean, holy god, he's huge.

finally, they move a smaller piece of equipment out of the way after some dick in a suit says "hey, who are they? we've got fans back here!"

and we head to our seats. but the wrestlers were so cool, and most didn't notice and didn't seem to care we were there.

um, did i mention that Goldberg is simply huge?

Tree, cool details, thanks bro. Missed the card but followed it on Rajah last night. I used to get the audio but my cable company finally put an end to that.

some photos from RoH, taken from the official website...

Jay Briscoe in the cage...

Bret's really annoying nephew, Teddy Hart...

Masada falls into the cage, one of the Special K kids falls out of it...

another Special K kid goes airborne...

Masada gloats, as one of the special K kids lays dead in the ring, after being pile driven off the top of the cage through two tables...

Colt Cabana, right, with Tracy Brooks, also known as my future girlfriend once she breaks up with CM Punk....

reminds me of the time I spent in a bar watching all the wrestlers get wasted after Raw in Charleston... I think I wrote about it before.. one of the most surreal experiences of my life. I thought I was dreaming and was so awestruck I was afraid to move or anything in fear of screwing it all up. We just happened to be in the hotel bar when they all started coming in, then security wouldn't let any other random people in, but we were just quietly in the corner watching Flair and Shawn and Y2J and RVD and on and on...

I remember it was the night AJ Feely played for the Eagles and got hurt real bad and all the guys were really into it the game...

CM Punk fumes at special guest referee Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat...

...and pays the price after attacking him.

did i mention my future girlfriend, Tracy Brooks?

One of The Dragon's signature moves...

Dragon looked old in person too. and heavier. but when he busted out his moveset, it was right on.

a couple stories i heard involving Ricky from backstage.

the first involves Allison Danger. She gushing about how The Dragon was her hero, and she couldn't believe she was on the show with him.

at one point, she goes to take a leak, and forgot to lock the door. so in walks some guy, sees her on the john, and he rushes out. she didn't get a chance to see who it was, but it turns out it was The Dragon. LOL

the other thing is that the girls in the back were really wetting themselves over him, talking about how hot he still was. At one point, one of them said "Ricky gave so much to the business. maybe it's time we gave him something back. i think we can all hold him down and take turns..."

to which allison, who, er, doesn't really swing that way, said "hell, i'd even try out the Dragon's spike for size..."

I really didn't think Mania was that great. I admit I was playing poker through most of it so my attention wasn't totally there but I didn't think it was great. The only really great highlight to me was HHH losing his belt after 5 billion years. Greatest sight I have seen in years.

Until of course I realized that wiggs had Benoit and he was just gaining more points for his empire.

In 2000 I was stuck in Oklahoma City's Will Rogers airport for a fog delay with half of the WWF (At the time) wrestlers that didn't make the early morning flight. And let me tell you, China (however she spells it), in no way can be a female in person hahaha. Ok maybe that was a little harsh but man.

Farn - I thought it was very good, but I did pay much attention to it... glad I landed the webcast, cause I was able to watch it quietly in my room with no distractions.

Punk, greatest sign I ever saw at a live Wrestling event:

"I'd rather be in Chyna"

After standing next to her at the counter, I would never want to be inside Chyna haha. It was like 8:30 in the morning so for the first 5 minutes of her standing next to me I was trying to figure out A)is that a man or woman, and B) where have I seen her before. Then I figured it out after I saw a few other wrestlers around. Lots of people didn't know who they were at first, but after about 30 minutes everyone kept going up to all of them asking for autographs and stuff.
