We've had some people leave us, and some lethargy here at the end. this is just to check in and say "Hey, i'm here, and i'm ready to draft sometime next week!"

ready to roll.

Young Gunz is out of town, but i know he is ready.

Farn is also out of town and i cant say for 100% sure, but I would say 99.9% sure he is ready.

Thats 8 so far (assuming Farn is set) leaving Mike D and Species... and we know they are always around and check in regularly.

Its nice only having 10 teams. Should keep it moving along a little quicker too I think.

speaking of drafts I got #1 pick in a Yahoo baseball league I am about to draft in. Never had #1 in any league I have ever played in. Now I got #1 overall in MLB and WWE in one week. Love it.

I hate the Yanks, but gotta go ARod here I guess. That 3B/SS eligibility is a huge bonus.

Here, but confused, as I'm not clear on whether keepers have been declared etc.. I haven't done it yet. Also not sure who is available etc..

Mike - we're not starting yet - i just wanted to make sure everyone was here. i think we're declaring keepers monday night, tuesday morning, and starting to draft...

last year's draft went REALLY fast - it's only four rounds...

Wiggs finishes with 4x as many points as me. That was certainly sad. Maybe this year I can find a way to hang in and not be as bad.

i am definately good to go. Looking forward to actually drafting my own team.

Is there anyway I can keep only 3 and get an extra pick somewhere in the draft? I know this might not be something that has been done before, but this guy really put me in a deep hole.

i know this was an idea tossed out after season one, but i can't remember what we decided on that. anyone?

unless we just did something like bump up his last round pick up to after say the 2nd round. giving him picks 2 - 12 - 21 - 23. Only moves up his last pick 10 spots or so, but would allow him to land someone like Richards or Rico there who will at least score something.

I think that would be fair. A compensatory pick in a way, like in the some other major sports.

what I mean is that rounds would have a different number of picks.

Total number of picks by round.
1 - 10
2 - 11
3 - 10
4 - 9

so you are saying keep 4 guys, but bump his other 4 picks?

yeah just move up that last one which is pretty much a throwaway up into a spot so he can at least get someone who will be on tv.

I agree with tree that he shouldnt get to pick ahead at all, but i would not have a problem with giving him a 5.1 pick if he doesnt like his keepers. From the email I got from him with his keepers, I dont blame him :)

Also, it appears GO will have pick 1 but nothing is set in stone. He doesnt have alot in keeper points and he finished last.

I don't think the rules should be altered. If he keeps 4 people and then makes 4 picks, he still has the option of waiving a keeper post-draft for someone still available. With the contraction, this may be worthwhile. And, that in effect is similar to him having "the last pick" since it is post-draft.

Wiggs - since you're going to be collecting keepers, are you also tallying the numbers that determine draft order?
30Great One

but if he can use the extra pick, he isn't penalized by using up his waiver priority.

Right, and I disagree with that. Let him use his waiver priority on Rico etc.. That's what waivers are for.

my point is that i think it's something we clearly voted on after season one - whether that was allowed or not - and i honestly don't remember the results. lol

I believe the result was the forcing of 4 keepers, Mr. Tree. The problem was that it totally would have screwed up keeper points, and massively altered draft position. People were considering 2 keepers etc..

I absolutely am keeping track of everything. As soon as i get the last keepers i will post the draft order. I have it all written out, just need to fill people in. Right now I have 4 of the 10 keepers.

Here. Been busy with RIBC and other drafts. What's your email, wiggs?

Will we post a listing of available wrestlers sorted by points once the keepers are posted?

Keepers are due by Monday night/Tuesday morning, correct????

Kev 23 Is the draft order set at all yet?
No. The draft order won't be set until we know who everyone's keepers are. Remember, draft positions are partially weighed on the strength of our keepers.

Young Gunz 16 Is there anyway I can keep only 3 and get an extra pick somewhere in the draft?
We decided during the Season 2 draft that 4 keepers must be kept. My suggestion to you if you want to keep fewer than 4 is to keep the 2 or 3 you want and fill out your keeper list with the lowest scorers on your team. This way, they will have the least possible impact on your drafting position.

After wiggs posts the keepers I will post two lists of available wrestlers, one sorted by their total scores and one sorted by the last 5 or 6 weeks or so.

I am on my way to the dentist right now. I broke a tooth pretty bad this weekend.

MITH, after you send me a list of your keepers (ones that cant be changed) I will send you an email with what I have for keepers so far. That way you can start cleaning up your list of who is available. I am not trying to rush you, if you dont send it til tomorrow morning then so be it.
