Subject: The Godfather - The Game

Being a fan of the movies, I picked up "The Godfather" video game (for XBox) last night and while I'm just getting used to it, I love it so far. You've got to do little jobs to earn respect in the Family, and extort weekly 'protection' money from NYC businesses by roughing up/negotiating with local merchants.
I never played Grand Theft Auto, but is this premise basically the same - just using The Godfather movies vs. LA gangs as it's theme?
Pretty cool so far. Anyone else play it? |
