Sorry, dumb question.....

I went to the BJ concert in Portland Sunday night and
Richie Sambora sang this song. He did an excellent
job. Has he always sung it? or did Jon sing the
original version.

I am not a huge fan....my wife and my friend's wife
begged us to go. BUT, I must admit it was an excellent
show.

Thanks.

BTW...is there a way to get Richie's version if he didn;t
sing the original.

THanks, aC

I believe Bon Jovi sang the original version of this song. Now excuse me while I head home from work for some hair spray and a blow dryer.

I still listen to "Slippery When Wet" often. Jon definitely sings the original.

I'll Be There For You is indeed on New Jersey...

This comment is funny I am not a huge fan....my wife and my friend's wife
begged us to go. BUT, I must admit it was an excellent
show.

Because Wiggs and I both said the same exact thing in another thread. We were both kind of on the fence, wound up going - and it turned out to be one the best shows we'd seen. Thats crazy that 3 different people have said pretty much the same thing. Maybe some more people should give him an honest shot.

Random side note that John Bongiovani is also from my high school and hometown in Sayreville, NJ and I currently reside in Woodbridge within sight of the house that Sambora grew up in.

Bon Jovi with Cinderella was the first concert i went to ever back in the mid 80's. They were great then so to still be rocking 20 years later is impressive. I would certainly see them again (with or without the wife) ;)
