I am looking to purchase a "corner booth"... i.e. the round one in the corner of the diner.
Any idea where to find one? Brand new ones seem to be incredibly overpriced. Not really sure I want one from an old restuarant. At this point I may wind up trying to build one lol...
I found one on Craigslist but its in California (I'm in Jersey). But it'll give you an idea of generally what I am looking for, though I'd prefer a round one... booth on Craigs |

LB Furniture booth seating brochure. They're in Hudson, NY.
Directory of restaurant furniture manufacturers and distributers.
Also if you haven't done so I'd look up local restaurant suppliers to see if they deal in what you're looking for and check with private restaurant owners for ideas.
If you wind up going with something used keep in mind that chain restaurants like Fridays and Bennigans will likely use lesser-quality furniture but usually keep strict cleaning policies.

I'd definitely try the restaurant suppliers. They deal in used as well. Larger used furniture dealers might be a source.
Also, if you buy used, steam cleaning is highly recommended.
