i was recently sent a link about Mint money management, a free online money management tool.
has anyone used it? any thoughts or insight, mostly related to ease of use, whether it actually makes managing one's money easier, and, most importantly, security?
thanks in advance... |

Never used it in my life, but if you ever have questions about general money management post them here and I'd be happy to help you as best I can.

nah, i'm ok with money management. much better than i used to be, actually. just looking for something that is easy to use.
currently, excel is what i've used, with some spreadsheets i developed that work for me, and friends (with some personal tweaking). mostly for budget keeping type of things.
i'm just curious about this mint money thing, but, putting all my personal information online concerns me, even if they do claim to have pretty solid security...

Personally I would never use an on line service and input all my financial details i.e. Microsofts online money managing service.
To my conspiratorial mind it's just some corp trying to put me in their database.
