Right under the message field (the box you type your message in) is the hyperlinked text, "Click here to create and insert a link". Click that, paste the url address into the box that appears (make sure you don't wind up with a double "http://") click "OK", then type the text you want to hyperlink in the next box.

If you have scripted windows blocked, you may have to "Temporarily Allow Scripted Windows" by clicking the information bar that appears just below your menu bar at the top of the page (IE 7.0).
