Hanna's coming! We shall see what all it does to Delaware, but it's supposed to be the worst here from 2-8pm and drop 5-9 inches of rain. The first Feeder Line of the storm went through about 9pm, and it's still 500 miles south. Bring it on! |

Hanna doesn't seem much of a threat and more of a way to "soak the ground". I think Ivan has the ability to do that most damage. While a Midwestern-er I hope it does not go through the Gulf and to New Orleans and Louisiana. The last thing they need is a second hurricane in the same month.

That would be Ike, Kyle (which you're on tap now for the next named storm).
Hanna is just going to be that, lots of rain and then 50-60MPH gusts, which if the ground is saturated enough could bring down alot of trees.

Sorry, Ike-Ivan, 6 to 1. From what I've heard NC, SC, and Virginia are in an extreme drought. I have also heard the damage estimates are minimal (only power outages in the wake of the eye of the storm). That said my prayers are out to those who are in the wake of any storm and I hope that the damage is less than predicted. Watching the Weather Channel for a couple hours is actually interesting. Oh yah and I hope that Hurricane/Tropical Storm/Tropical Depression Kyle isn't as destructive as 2002's Kyle. But I do hope it forms and does something to Cuba. Screw the Commies! :)
