Well this has to be easy but I can't figure it out.
I'm usually pretty good with stuff too.
I am writing something on word, and instead of the standard white back ground I want to use a custom color.
How do I get word to let me change the background color of the page?
By the way...my new web page for my company. Self taught and designed.
It's already starting to pay off. I'll add it to the moving to other side of the planet thread to.
Also working on a new personal website that looks much better then last.

The new Word (2007) uses tabs to help negotiate these kinds of things. If you are using Word 2007 then go to the Page Layout tab, then click on Page Background.

That's it PD
They don't make it easy to find. Even on their word help web site...but then that's Microsoft.
