Thank you, God.

I know I probably shouldn't start off with a snarky one, but c'mon. That story is too tasty.

my girlfriend. my family. my friends. obama being elected. de la soul, and really, any hip hop from the native tongue movement back in the day. pro wrestling. the people who defend this nation when she is attacked. really good beer. the internets. the word f*ck. all the cultural diversity I'm surrounded by in nyc, especially anything latino. tony romo. people with open minds. music, well, good music. hell, even bad music, because without it, we wouldn't know what good music was. facebook and long lost friends now found. friends. people who look at you like you've got nine heads. oscar wao. the past. the present. the future. the 4th wall. toilet paper.

and really, just getting on in the day by day in this f*cking amazing world we live in.

my wife, my children, my grandchildren, my parents, living in
California, living in the United States, my religion, my friends, my
health, computers, trials that let me appreciate when things are
going well, golf, HDTV, DVD's, netflix, shopping online, family
blogs, jpegs.

I'm sure I'll think of more later.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Having lived in a part of the world where it isn't taken for granted, as I reflect on what I've seen the past couple of years, I am most thankful for my education.

A simple BFA, with good quality elementary and high school before that.

It makes all the difference and when it is missing in people here you really see what a handicap it is.

The other aspect to the education is just having grown up in such a sophisticated and advanced society which again puts us light years ahead of most of the planet in terms of intellectual and business advantages.

There's plenty more I am thankful for, but this is what I pin point now, that I might not of said had I not lived in a developing country the last 2+ years.
