OK, now PD gets to pull out the tin foil hat and try and fit me for it.

But hey, just because the MSM and even I have been heretofor cowed into ignoring these tidbits, ya'never know...

Given how much Sarah Palin and John McCain have out and out lied in some areas (and have yet to be challenged by the "MSM") I really don't think your bar should be set so low as to give credibility to things based upon the lack of "MSM" attention.

Neither, of course, should you be measuring the success of your political arguments merely by how much the "Left" becomes outraged by them. But that's another thread I think.

I promise I'll look these over later today. Am on deadline for a book.

You, PV and Tree have completely watered down the meaning of 'lie' in the last three days or so. By your lights it must include any sentence with a period.

I didn't notice your second link, only your first. The cititenship question has, of course, has been thoroughly debunked--have you even looked at FactCheck.org on this at all? I note that the video presents no evidence at all--is this what you've been lowered to? A video which doesn't present any evidence talking about an exposed lie?

Boldwin - just because you refuse to look at another's dishonesty because you happen to believe them - or because you refuse to look within yourself - doesn't make it any less dishonest.

you have shown yourself more than willing to believe lies and mistruths - no matter how often and how hard they have been debunked - as long as it supports your "cause".

so go ahead and blame myself, PV, and PD, three people of very diverse backgrounds and beliefs, and accuse us all of watering down the meaning of a lie, while continue to believe you're a shining white knight of truth.

that, is the biggest lie around here.

Debunking is a curious thing. I just read over Snope's 'debunking' of the 'Clinton Body Count'. They pointed out someone who was shot on the right side of the head but not one peep about the dozen right handed people who died from gunshots behind the left ear. Not one word, and Snopes is the 'definative' internet debunker people use.

Similarly the Warren Commission is a completely discreditted debunking of conspiracy theory. Over time you can no longer find anyone who believes that 'debunking'.

The 9/11 commission report is highly suspect.

I've looked at several rundowns of the evidence proving Obama's putative birth certificate is a fraud and I am convinced that Obama is hiding something. You can find out now or later what that is.

I'm just curious if Obama intends to see if being already elected president isn't such a fait accompli that America would ignore the constitutional requirements. Considering that 70% of democrats don't even believe SCOTUS judges should be constrained by the constitution I think he may have a point.

I'm not talking about "Clinton Body Count" or any such thing. One at a time, Baldwin. Did you look at the link for the birth certificate story on FactCheck? If not, then do it before commenting on whether Obama is "hiding something."

BTW the factcheck piece is pretty powerful but I will await the purported evidence of photoshop artifacts proving the birth certificate to actually be a doctored version of his sister's. The internet got it right in Rathergate and I expect they will ultimately be vindicated in this case.

Right. Photoshopping can introduce problems into an electronic version of the certificate, which is why one cannot trust copies going around on the Internet as much as the original.

But FactCheck saw and handled the actual paper copy of the certificate.

I think you are refusing to see the truth and move on here.

First of all the guys a racist. He made a big deal a couple of times that Obama's mother was attracted to black men. What does that have to do with anything? That's the best you can do Baldwin? That's your crowd? or maybe your congregation? Showing your colors again Baldwin.

Also he makes many claims (Most of which I could care less about) but gives absolutely no documentation for his evidence, and sources.

How is that in any way credible Baldwin? He just states these things and we should all just say hallelujah and believe? I guess after his disparaging remarks about her dating Nigroes he gained credibility with you?

Third, if this does catch on, America will once again get the Presidential race it deserves. Aimed at the lowest common denominator inbreds who don't care about the important issues just this sewage they can get aroused by.

In the end though, even if everything he said is true (and there is no reason to believe it is) there's nothing in the video to make anyone concerned about Obama unless of course they already hate him. Big deal, if true, when she was young and impressionable, his mther flirted with leftist politics...if it's true. Is that a"big deal" is it even worth discussing, unless you are throwing mud?

That's coming from someone who is not voting for him and who has been one of the most vocal anti Socialists on the political boards.

Unfortunately the marxist road he walked just goes on and on. I've only just begun.

We're talking worst case scenarios here, thus the name of the thread.

Further as you know the globalists are coming at us from every angle so I am not saying Obama is a bigger threat than Bush.

The power elite who are talking about 'the end of history' have kind of settled on what they call a 'third way' which it appears to me means vampire capitalism which only the power elite get to participate in and a marxist faux workers paradise/whitewashed grave for the masses.

Further the guy wasn't making a racist point. He was pointing out that she was such a committed marxist radical that she decided to only date black men. Now that's racist, but more importantly it goes a long way to pointing out that Obama's biggest influence in life was very very radical.

I 'spose a 'That's not the mom I knew' will satisfy you tho.

she decided to only date black men. Now that's racist

how is that racist? it's her "type". some guys prefer red heads. many jews will only date other jews. a female friend of mine will kick a guy to the curb if he doesn't "measure up". i used to like bigger girls with big boobs and a round ass. now i like more petite women, as long as they still got back.

everyone has preferences Baldwin. because she preferred black men doesn't make anything racist.

AND NEVER MIND THE FACT THAT WHO OBAMA'S MOM DATED HAS LITTLE BEARING ON THE ISSUES OF THIS PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. the one true fact here is that issues and truth don't concern you - "could be's" and character assassination do.

You didn't think the fact that her dating choices were politically motivated was interesting? That is hardly your average soccer mom. That is a strident doctrinaire kind of person. If he appeals to moderate middle of the road people, that is only because Obama has not revealed himself.

You didn't think the fact that her dating choices were politically motivated was interesting?

You are assuming the guy has some psycho-political insight rather then an inbred bias.

What is the proof he is offering?

The guy sounded CREEPY to me, did you listen carefully to his voice? like he hangs out in men's rooms tapping his foot...

Baldwin that's not you in the video is it?

But what do I know Baldwin? I have a thing for Asian Chicks so I can sympathize with a woman who digs brothers.

I actually inserted that line just for you Baldwin.

Why would I admit it when it's not true? Because of my business I've worked with gay men my entire life, including right now, and I haven't got a single negative thing to say.

Until this job my last three bosses were gay. Three of the best people I have ever worked for.

If you want to go down the bigot road I'll be happy to discuss.

If the two provisions of evidence are identical and the one is monumentally insufficient for the charges, then so too must be the other.

Add up the evidence in that video that the narator is racist. = insufficient

Add up the evidence in Nerve's post that someone could twist to portray Nerve as bigotted against gays. = insufficient and similar

Baldwin

To play out your academic game.

The video author seems to imply there's a "significance" to the fact that Obama's mother would only date black men.

You think it is homophobic that I called going into a bathroom stall, tapping your foot and trolling for C is creepy.

Now even though I don't particularly care if someone does this, as long as they back off if no one responds to the foot. Most gay men don't engage in this activity, nor find it "gay mainstream". (Just guessing perhaps you'll enlighten me)

The author of your video seemed to believe it significant though, that Obama's mother was attracted to a particular type of man. In fact found it shocking, seemingly damning and somehow significant to Obama's ability to be President.

Your turn...

Well the question is whether she decided to date 'only black men' because she had a thing for black men, or whether she was doing it to make a political point, just to prove how radical she was, her solidarity with the oppressed, etc. I have no problem with the first but I have known one case of someone being detirmined to marry [latino in this case] just to be fashionably diverse and that is something else. Aggressively slavish to liberal fashion. I think that indicates a significant radical note to the personality that bears pointing out.

I have previously pointed out that Obama has benefitted from being a blank slate that anyone can project their hopes on. Only fair that people get to know the real Obama.

There's a very illuminating lesson to be learned from Mith's video in #44.

As a former talk radio host(sports, not politics), I found out just how hard it is to come up with something interesting to talk about day after day, hour after hour, minute after minute.

Hosts like Jones and Beck, who have carved careers out of promoting fringe schools of thought based on flimsy standards of research, it's almost impossible to present a show on a daily basis without embellishing facts with theories that need to be compelling to the listeners who enjoy allowing their imaginations be manipulated.

I can understand why Alex Jones is frustrated with Glenn Beck. Jones has always been true to his roots as a fringe "journalist" which has kept him in the shadows of the media, even with the advent of internet journalism, a genre displayed in all its fringe glory in post #1 in this thread. Beck has taken Jones's schtick mainstream and made himself a multi-millionaire, thanks to his experience as a mainstream broadcaster and his much more honed acting ability.
Jones actually believes most of the stuff he delivers. For Beck, it's just a vehicle to promote his celebrity.

I could fill it.

Let me introduce you to a concept.

The Bug Out Bag.

Let's just call this, 'Be Your Own FEMA'.

Doesn't matter exactly which scenario, just imagine the grocery stores were emptied in hours, the utilites are out.

Katrina, terrorist attack, earthquake, doesn't matter.

I'm not sayin' stock up food for the rest of your life. I'm not sayin' surround your house with a six foot wall of firewood. I'm not sayin you must watch 'Preppers'. Not recommending that particular bag.

I'm just sayin', what if some crap hit the fan, you had to hit the bricks, your home wasn't safe...who you gonna turn to?

Look in the mirror. Is that guy ready? Will he keep it together?

And if you were ever going to read the Bible once in your life. This would be a good time.
