We have failed to get our Basketball League off the ground two years in a row now. We just didn't get an early enuff start. Let's correct this here and now.
Poliboard Basketball signups:
Consider this your chance to reup. If you have played in it before please request a place at the table now. Let's see if we have the slots filled before opening it to new requests.
I am provisional commish unless a more worthy candidate steps forward. I am not over-eager for the role so feel free to nominate yourself.
Let's get drafting by this weekend please. If anyone thinks that isn't pushing it hard enuff tell me why we can't wait that long.

Do you follow the poliboard conversation regularly at least, Wiggs? It kind of defeats the purpose of the league to bring in those who don't interact on the board. You are worthy competition at least.

Basketball preseason is incredibly short and the season will overtake us before we know it. Knowing how hard it's been the last three years to get the Basketball Poliboard season together I intend to start this thing even if we should run late but I intend to do everything I can to avoid that.

Of course, if you were able to get a strong stable of active managers and were going to make it a keeper (I can only play keeper leagues these days, I can't motivate for a one-shot league), and keep the rules simple, there is a small chance I'd take the last opening if it were available.

I am just amazed. It's the only game I love in real life. We had a few great years of it in Poliboard. It fills almost half a year and the dead months of winter. Why wouldn't anyone NOT want to play it here?
