Who got the steals, which of your picks did you like. Why did you do that? |

WR
In the age of the RBBC, I think WR has become much more important and my TO/Colston/Boldin combo is stronger than I ever expected to be in that dept.
Not to mention a Vincent Jackson/Bobby Engram Backup Plan.
RB
I sure hope Larry Johnson isn't the next Shaun Alexander as some have speculated. I am moderately encouraged this preseason on that topic. He sure has made up for the early pro career and piled on the mileage and abuse.
I think Chris Johnson will be the better RB of the TENN RBBC and the one most likely to break a TD.
Everyone prolly assumed once upon a time that it would be a Ahman Green/Chris Brown HOU backfield but it now looks like a Slaton/Taylor backfield and Slayton is the one I feel most likely to break a TD off. Taylor struggled thru the first 2 games but had a good third.
If either Chris Johnson or Slaton come thru big this year I am golden. Strong everywhere else but that third RB slot they must fill.
Steals
Around the league I liked PD's first two, man that guy can draft! Bush/Welker...mmmm!
2[8]
Tree's Harrison in the 2[8th] round. No way that guy is washed up. I woulda taken him in this round. I think Coles is gonna get over losing Pennington and is one lucky super-possession receiver. I had him for the first time ever last year and was pleasantly impressed with his consistancy. Ricky Williams gets his finances in order after a great year this year. After which he retires to Jamaica in a year or two I guess.
3[9]
I couldn't get frozen out on all the rookie RB's and Chris Johnson topped my wish list. Happy with the way this worked out.
Clyde's Shockey, the only thing I really like in this round.
Bili...yeeeeeeeh, lemme know how that works out for you. Busy with RL this round?
4[10]
Boikin's Galloway and Cooley. A super-trade down I am guessing. Who did you get for the picks you traded?
Maybe my Favre's new team is worse overall and his trade will hurt him but I have to think this is a serious receiver upgrade.
5[11] [misnumbered in the draft thread]
Tho Clyde crushed me by stealing my supersleeper in Kevin Walters who went much earlier than I expected, I did manage to get Schaub for my QB2. I actually like Favre and Schaub so much I can skip using a third slot for QB3. Nice. Two quality QB's in pass first offences and both with 2 quality WR's.
6[12]
Do Garrard, Rivers, Vincent Jackson, Meacham deliver on their unlimited upside or deliver more of the same?
7[13]
Tree's Fargas is a steal here. For too long in Fargas' career that team treated him like a leper. Great physical abilities passed over every chance it looked like he would get. I was thinking they didn't like his decision making ability or something but I note they handed him a 'committment to excellence' award lately. I will be amazed if McFadden manages to marginalize Fargas as badly as most people expect.
Tho Dellhome has abused me terribly the last few years, that team has bent over backward giving him everything he could possibly hope for and more to succeed this year. So the one year I don't reach for him he will surely explode.
I liked my Slaton, Bili's Maurice Morris and PV's Issac Bruce this round. 8[14]
B7's Kenny Watson, My Briggs, Wiggs Pacman
9[15]
PV's Stallworth
10[16]
Punk's Kitna's WRs are just too strong and Kitna is just good enuff to pay off no matter what and that OL is not as bad as advertised. Punk held out a long time and still will get good stats from that position.
B7's Aaron Rogers...this team is so solid he prolly does well despite his youth and inexperience.
Patience pays off for Wiggs in the form of Owen Daniels.
11[17]
Dellhome love Moose so who knows? Maybe even at his advanced age he turns out to be the WR2 instead of Hackett as everyone else expects. In which case Punk is golden with this late pick.
12[18]
B7 steals Kurt Warner in the 18th round only one pick ahead of me. Ouch. Oh my those receivers! Watching them tear apart a secondary is a sight not to be missed. Edge is not washed up, his OL was just that poor but they are gonna resemble the Bronco's OL sooner rather than later [Grimm] and then this team is gonna rock.
13[19]
My Randy McMichael's new OFF coordinator loves to use the TE and he has all the tools to blow up.
Wigg's Torrain...hey, with Shanny anything is possible. Nice late round gamble prolly. Depending on how you are set at RB, you may wish you had remembered that one.
14[20]
I've heard PV's Zack Miller could be good.

I had little time to research, with 4 generations of inlaws in town. My assessment of other teams would be pretty silly.
I'm relying heavily on my keepers - 2 star RBs and Peyton. And McGee. If I can keep 1 or 2 of my top WRs in the lineup, I should be competitive, then it's all about winning when it counts, in weeks 15 and 16.

So when is the bili calculator gonna spit out the season's results?

I didn't even put together a comprehensive spreadsheet this year, so the likely answer is never. Sorry.

I am having trouble joining another league in yahoo. It is offering me the option of renewing our league from last year as well as inputting a new league ID but it will not follow thru and advance me to the join new league page. It feels like it wants me to rejoin or delete last year's team.
Anyone having the same problem?
And why didn't we renew instead of a starting a new league?

Then why is it still offering me the option of renewing? Perhaps because my e-mmail address changed....hmm.

technically, only the commish has the option of renewing the league when you set it up. it's weird you're seeing that.
