We all know what the beer summit is. Here's what is bugging me:

It will be Bud Light for Obama, Blue Moon for Crowley and Red Stripe for Gates, the White House says.

Seriously? Bud Light? HAHA Out of all the beers in the world, Bud Light? Has Obama ever drank a beer before? Bud Light is what i drink when my options are Budweiser, Miller, and Coors. Not when my options are ANY BEER YOU WANT.

I understand some people actually like Bud Light. They're called women, frat boys, and people who have no taste buds.

Sorry, I'm sure there are Bud Light loyalists who are offended by this but this has been eating its way through my brain all day.

Hey Holt, which car do you want for the weekend? The 911, the Jag, the Vette, or the Ford Focus? Well golly gee toss me them Ford keys. woo-hoo! Nothin' beats good ole generic American factory-line junk! This calls for a Bud Light!

It's a meeting where two men teach a third man about the concept of flavor.

so, um, are they gonna introduce a good beer there?

i mean, you've got Bud Light, you've got a Coors beer, and you've got the most overrated import short of Corona.

Two macro breweries and a crappy import. nice options there.

if those are the beers being used to teach the concept of flavor, they should cancel the class.

Blue Moon is owned by Coors but it still tastes good, surprisingly. Kind of like Michelob Pale Ale and Porter. Owned by Anheuser Busch but they taste OK. Not awesome but acceptable.

Red Stripe, not something I would buy but it has a lot more flavor than Bud Light. It does have a distinct flavor, if I remember correctly. Gates should have stuck with his other choice, Becks.

becks is equally crappy.

Seems the President can't avoid controversy even with the choices for the beer summit.

Personally, I think they should brew their own.

And Baldwin apparently thinks it's a trap. Crowley ain't getting out alive.
