No, I think this one is over the top. Not a surprise considering the critically timed bomb planted in our fantasy season. We are also paying for having decided years ago not to focus on Poliboarders. Can you imagine someone so opposed to posting in the Poliboard that they'd quit if they had to, being a good fit?

i'm cool with WG joining. i've played in many leagues with him in multiple sports. VERY dedicated fantasy owner and one who loves to trade. let's get him to take Tax's team and move forward.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. No time for discussions and a vote on the matter. He's willing and able to post on the Poliboard. Lets see if he knows how to locate an email and click on a link in his email. Two qualities in short supply.

It is starting to look like Skeepers is another one of those managers who quits but doesn't quite state categorically that they are gone leaving us hanging on in the hope that they will complete their next step.
Please take the search for another alternate seriously, people. Ask your friends/quality managers in other leagues for possible alternates. Preferences for Khahan or J-bar or even Sarge if he's ever man up and play fantasy sports with us.

i agree 100 percent. he's a VERY active owner in every league, and we speak online every day about things fantasy sports. he will be an asset...

Ask all the good managers you know if they are interested in an expert league.
WG covers Taxman but I'm thinking Boikin was serious that he'd rather throw up his hands and walk away from a lomgtime keeper league he's been in than to figure out how to enter the non-snake draft, as ridiculous and hard to believe as that is.
Once WG signs up I'll see if I can change Taxman's mind knowing that we can start back up at kafenatid immediately with his re-entry...but I am not thinking that will work, nor do I relish the begging.
Yesterday was hard on me. I lost a day's RL paycheck and a whole lotta peace of mind.

Hey guys, I don't know that I want to commit to a football keeper league. However, if you are short managers I can certainly take over a team for this season. Those who have played against me know I don't do these things half-assed.
If you are full, great. If you are stuck and in jeopardy, I'll gladly be a proxy manager this year.

I really wish you had spoken up sooner, Khahan as I know you are a great manager and a polboard regular and nominally conservative...
...however we are currently set. Can I keep you in mind when one of our managers quits?

I will be happy to give you GW's contact info and you can see if he is interested in co-managing or returning control of it to you if he would be that magnanimous, however...
Seeing as how you declared you:
were not going to be able to navigate kafenatd drafttime...
did not communicate with us the rest of the day...
ignored a day's worth of plaintive emails from me describing in detail how to enter your team in drafttime...
cost me $180 of daily pay and a years worth of life stress...[granted I miss some work doing this anyway]
I do not feel anyone can fault me as a commish for giving your team to an alternate who had already been given the team.
