Who do you gys like at goalie??? I like Seaman for his price, but Barthez looks good, too. I'm still undecided... |

I went for Westerveld. He's great in goal, and with Liverpool's weak left side, I think there will be plenty of opportunity for saves. Seamen did entice me as well, but I had to go for Westerveld. And we all know, Westerveld will "never walk alone." Go Reds.

I went with Tim Flowers. Since most people are going with a goalie over 5mil, I decided to get a cheap one and try to win by having more solid position players.

Since Seaman is kinda old, about mid thirties, he might not get to play every game, his backup Manniger might get more playing time and could overtake him as the number one goal keeper

I'm thinking of getting James from Aston Villa (only 4.35 mill), as opposed to Barthez or Westerveld. Villa was 3rd best behind Liverpool and Chelsea in goals-against. Even if Villa's defense this year is weaker than last year, that's still okay because James will have the opportunity to make some saves. However, there are two negatives: 1) Villa won't get as many wins as either Man U or Liverpool, and 2) James was considered to be dodgy keeper during his days at Liverpool because of some fumbled crosses that led to goals. What to do, what do?
