i love that site. a lot of cool info.
also, a lot of inaccurate info, so don't believe everything you read.
as for Blood Runs Cold - they ran a zillion promos, all with the tag line "Blood Runs Cold". they were great hype pieces, and got people really excited about the mystery...
then Glacier made his debut, and well, he wasn't that great. he was solid enough, but he was basically a midcard guy from the indies named Ray Lloyd, and the people just didn't buy it. it was a lot of hype for a guy nobody cared about - pretty much instantly. as soon as he showed up, the air was let out of the balloon.
but WCW continued to push it, and people cared even less and less. Mortis (Chris Kanyon) debuted to feud with him, and it helped some what since Kanyon (and his manager Sinister Minister James Vandenberg) was amazing, but, still, for the most part people didn't care.
they actually brought him back a few times to try again, and it kept failing.
this was one of the many things that was wrong with WCW, and honestly, it reminds me of the WWE now, where they just "don't get it..."
