I'll give you a topic -
From Figure 4 Wrestling, "There was an incident involving Undertaker and Chris Masters during a Taker & Kane vs. Finlay & Masters match last week at a house show in Scotland.
It all started when Taker started working over Masters' arm early in the match. Masters tagged out and just stood there on the apron without selling the pain. On the other side of the ring, Taker was gesturing to Masters as if to say, "Sell your arm." Masters still wasn't doing anything, and then Taker actually yelled it across the ring. Masters sold a bit and then apparently forgot again.
Masters was tagged back into the match, and apparently Undertaker roughed him up, blooding and perhaps breaking his nose. Masters then started having trouble breathing and got completely blown up. He finally rolled out of the ring and sold like he'd hurt his arm legit. As it turns out, Masters actually dislocated his elbow at some point.
Some guys came out and took Masters to the back. Finlay finished the rest of the match alone. That was the last time Masters wrestled on the tour."

gerweck - quote from Batista's book
Now, don't get me wrong, my ex-wife is the love of my life and I would never knowingly hurt her. However, while I was busting my butt on the road like a dog, she would sit around the house and do nothing. I mean, yeah, she had cancer, but she couldn't vacuum? And since the chemo made her "not in the mood", I had no choice but to have threesomes on the road. I mean, she's talented and I hated to see her waste her life like that when she could be a dancer, or maybe a nurse. But she's not a bad person and I take full responsibility for my actions, even though it was her fault.

WWE is saddened by the passing of Hall of Famer Fabulous Moolah.
In the world of women’s wrestling, there will always be one irrefutable legend that stands head and shoulders above the rest: The Fabulous Moolah. She was the longest reigning champion in the history of her chosen sport, or any sport for that matter. And with more than 50 years in the business to her credit, she established a legacy that will never be forgotten, making her name synonymous with female wrestling.

I find myself in terrible limbo.
I have a solid squad, but not good enough to compete with the newly forms squads. My question is do I make moves to give up some guys and acquire some picks, or give up picks to acquire guys.
Anyone else out there looking to move in either direction feel free to email me offers.

Not sure how official that is. The report I read stated it was someone posting on the message board section of his website.....not exactly the most credible source, although not out of the realm of possibility. It wasn't as if it was a headline by those officially connected with the site.

The news about Bobby Lashley leaving WWE was the big news at last night's SmackDown! & ECW tapings.
Lashley posts messages regularly at his website and the message came from his personal account, so at this point there is no evidence to suggest this is not a legitimate story.

This has really become a 3 way battle now for the title. Here's a breakdown
We each have 3 entered into the Rumble match. Wiggs and I have Y2J against JBL and Rey against Edge for the title.
That leaves some tossups...
Species and I have the top 2 females, both of whom are doing nothing.
Species has CM Punk, who now has no match and may be doing a run in against Edge.
Wiggs has Kofi, who may not be ready for a PPV by Sunday.
I've got Big Show, who I could sub for Phoenix and hope for a late entry or a run in.

I can't imagine Punk not being in the PPV .... either he envokes his rematch clause or gains entry into the Rumble.
I have Orton in what should be the Main Event - that's another 20 points.
It also would not surprise me if Hawkins and Ryder filled out the Rumble match as jobber fodder.

Thought this was interesting.
- Batista wrestled 161 matches in 2007, leading anyone on the current WWE roster, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Rounding out the top five, Jeff Hardy wrestled 146 matches, MVP worked 145 matches, Orton did 144 matches, and Kane worked 139 matches.

I really thought I had gone too far mortgaging the future to try to win this year. I think I may have actually done the least to kill my future of the 4 trying to win this year.
As a side note, when someone decides to drop out and has a top scorer who can outscore my current roster let me know. I'll send the Big Show to anyone who can outscore HHH.

This should be a lot of fun. We all have 6 solid mid-carders and above going for us. For fun, let's handicap the four contenders:
True top-of-the-card Main Eventers: Species: Batista, Orton wiggs: Rey Farn: HHH, HBK, Edge GO: Undertaker, J. Hardy
Nice advantage to Farn. It would be very rare for more than 1 of those 3 not to have a match in a particular week. He has 1 major belt and HHH could win the Rumble, or at the very least could have the Mania championship match push. For GO, Taker will always top a PPV card but doesn't wrestle every week.
Solid near-the-top-of-the-card guys: Species: CM Punk wiggs: Kennedy, Jericho Farn: JBL? GO: MVP
MVP could almost make the first list, as would CM Punk if he hadn't dropped the belt. As wiggs himself said, Jericho's return has been a bit of a disappointment, but Kennedy has picked it up for sure. JBL might be generously listed here, as I get the feeling he's a once-every-other-week wrestler.
Solid mid-carders, on TV pretty much every week: Species: Umaga, Finlay wiggs: Kane Farn: Big Show GO: Miz, Morrison
These guys won't rack up huge numbers, but won't let you down and will be in many PPV's. I put Big Show here due to uncertainty about WHEN he will return....but when he does it could be huge and put him in the next tier. Miz and Morrison could qualify for the higher tier but tag teams can disappear for a while - but being on ECW really helps because the roster is so thin. Finlay has been partially riding on Hornswoggle's coattails to get some extra run on RAW.
Lots of positives now, but long term questions: Species: Shelton wiggs: Khali, Kingston Farn: Beth, Hornswoggle GO: Chavo
Shelton looks to get a long, strong push in ECW, but he has totally disappeared/turned into tag jobber fodder before too.....but history suggests they will continue down this path through the end of this season. Khali is a big wild card - he could get re-pushed in a Flair retirement angle, a Taker Wrestlemania streak-ending angle or he could continue to wrestle in freak matches on occasion. I would expect Kofi Kingston to get a nice run, and a fresh face in ECW will be welcomed, but would he be in enough PPV's? Beth is the Champ and seemingly unstoppable, but does not wrestle every week and is not in every PPV. Hornswoggle has been an unbelievable scorer this year, and seems to have tons of pop. He has taken hold of his opportunity and is making the most of it and it's been entertaining...but in the end he is still a vertically challenged wrestler so you can't really get PPV's out of him every time and his matches, when he has them, are usually gimmicks and it can't last forever. It seems weird to put Chavo in this category, but he has had other runs and feuds for a month or two before disappearing into oblivion.....so it's reasonable to place some doubt on the long term stability of his run.
Overall I'd have to give the Edge to Farn due to his top Main Eventers. I think wiggs will have the hardest time as he doesn't have enough true top main eventers and probably lacks PPV punch. GO is strong from 1 through 6 but if Morrison and Miz aren't in all of the PPV's that could hurt. If Shelton goes forward to a Mania ECW title match, Punk regains the belt and I get consistency out of Finlay and Umaga, I have a strong chance as well.

GameTap interview
Jeff Hardy is the closest thing to a videogame character the WWE has ever seen. "Too bad I don't have a reset button with my human life," Hardy laughs as I ask him about the crazy 30-foot Swanton he dropped on Randy Orton a few weeks ago on Raw. "That was a good beginning one," he tells me, "but at Wrestlemania, I'd still like to go higher."
How high?
"That's what I have to stop and ask myself, how much higher can I go? Thirty feet felt like 50 the other night, but I will just have to wait and see if the right opportunity rolls around for something bigger. Hopefully that's at Wrestlemania, but we'll see."

I am not sure what to do with my 6th scorer. I have a choice between Beth Phoenix, who isn't currently doing anything tonight at the Rumble, or Big Show, who I'm not sure about. Show could debut but its highly unlikely he does anything more than interfere. If I try Beth she gets me 0 tonight but she could be in another rematch with Mickie tomorrow and get another quick 35.
What are the odds Hornswoggle wins tonight, heads to WM, and wins the title, thus effectively making him my high scorer and letting me keep HHH, HBK, Edge, and Show? :)

Another bad week of tapings for team Farn is making things tight going into No Way Out.
Based upon some sketchy spoilers, I have wiggs with 125, GO with 134, Farn with 82 and me with 150.
I benefitted from multiple wins from Punk and a 'Main Event' win for Finlay (with Edge's marriage proposal being last in the show). wiggs had wins from Y2J, Kofi, Cena and Kane but not much else. GO got a main event win from Hardy (can't wait to see that match with HBK!), a Taker win but Morrison and MVP losses. Farn got a Horny win and HBK main event loss, but nothing from Beth or HHH, with Edge nothing but a promo and vignette hurting and a JBL loss.
The spoilers are on the sketchy side so they don't always have every promo, vignette or curtain jerker.
Don't worry Farn - you'll gain at least 40 points on me for the RAW Chamber main event.

Handicapping NWO:
wiggs gets: Jericho in the Chamber, and likely a Main Event, but no win. Prediction: 12+20+15=47 Rey in title match, but a loss: 12+15=27 Kennedy vs. Flair, you assume a loss, maybe even a DQ: 12+15=27 As of now Kane and Kofi aren't in. Total = 101
GO gets: Hardy in the Chamber main event. It's hard to see him winning. 12+20+15=47 MVP in Chamber. 12+15=27 Undertaker in Chamber, and likely winning. 12+30=42 Chavo vs. Punk. I'm guessing a DQ finish: 12+10+10=32 As of now, no Morrison or Miz. Total: 148
Farn: HBK in Chamber. 12+20+15=47 HHH winning the Chamber. 12+20+30=62 Beth defending vs. Mickie?? 12+30+5=47 JBL in Chamber. 12+20+15=47 Edge successfully defending title. 12+30+10=52 Total: 208 w/o Beth victory, 255 if she wrestles and wins
Species: Batista in Chamber. 12+15=27 Orton losing to Cena. 12+15=27 CM Punk DQ win. 12+18=30 Umaga in Chamber. 12+15+20=47 Finlay in Chamber. 12+15=27 No Shelton. Total. 158
So don't fret Farn. You'll still be in the lead after NWO.

From Rajah's oratory Raw review:
Candice returns
Oh, 6% of WWE fans thinks Maria shouldn’t pose for Playboy. Not coincidentally, 6% of WWE fans are gay. Maria is able to do something that Mickie James hasn’t been able to do in months, and she was able to do it barefeet. Let the Playboy push begin. Candice looks smoking hot. Since Beth Phoenix’s character looks like a carpet muncher anyway, why wouldn’t she want to look just to see naked pics of Maria?
LMFAO!

(cue Stevie Richards music) I'll show you! You'll see!
That beaing said if any of the Big 4 are looking for a possible 30pt/Tuesday scorer for one final push towards a season 10 title, Stevie Richards can be had for a 2nd round draft pick if you have one sitting around that you were going to waste in season 11.

If I had a pick I would do that! haha...
Here's a mini-proposal for next year. Curious if we wanted to edit scoring for the Elimination Chamber matches. Something similar to the Rumble with elimination and order of finish bonuses - maybe the Final 2 get a bump etc. Thoughts?

Kind of like each remaining wrestler gets 2 points when someone is eliminated? I'm surprised you didn't have something like that already implemented. Makes perfect sense.

Its gonna be interesting to see what the 3 managers who mortgaged their future to win this year tell their fans as they wallow near the bottom the next 3 years.

Sure is gonna be a crapshoot next season and beyond, thats for sure.
Can Wiggs pull off the unthinkable and win BOTH belts at Wrestlemania?! And I would again like to pat myself on the back for the "Wrestlemania Grand Finale" scenario because it really makes it like a Super Bowl here. It would suck if its all climactic at Wrestlemania, but then you gotta wait to read Smackdown spoilers to know if you won. Thats the whole point of the rule, and I think its working as planned.
I could really envision a scenario where the 3 big guns are all tied, and then whoever wins the main event - the last match of the night, the last match of the season... they win the RWF Championship right along with whoever wins that match.
Cena vs. HHH vs. Orton Wiggs. vs. Farn vs. Species
And watch Wiggs win it with Cena... and then Hardy or Kennedy comes down after winning MITB and beat Cena for the belt and the RWF title changes right along with it!
Which reminds me. Jeff Hardy could be had for draft picks or a combo of draft picks and someone who either outscores Morrison, or who I like better than Morrison (meaning I lose Morrison, keep whoever I acquire).

If I don't win this season I think I'm going to take next season off (not quit, just trade away pieces). I will have enough talent to compete but I really want to win the Season 12 belt. Why?
Because I fully expect to be in attendance at WM26 in 2010 right here in Phoenix. I want to sit there, scoresheet in hand, watching as my guys win the title.
p.s. Anybody want to plan towards making that an RWF gathering?

Yes, WM26 ends season 14.
Wait...sweet... so I don't have to tank next season. My season ticket holders will appreciate that.

Still a few hours here before the trade deadline and everyone is for sale... upgrade those last keeper spots! change out your leading scorer! make sure your entire roster is the PPV! looking for Season 12 draft picks... Its your RWF duty to at least look at these guys and see if they could help your squad.

I am willing to trade Khali for a 2nd round pick if anyone needs a scorer to cover their top guy. He has over 400 points right now.

I probably won't be able to score Raw live tonight (if at all). The future in-laws are in town so sadly I can't watch it unless I get her to take them out for 3hrs.

WOW! What a moron....
In accordance with its Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy, WWE has suspended Jeff Hardy for 60 days, for his second violation of the company’s policy.

Now if only Morrison had enough in him to catch Hardy for leading scorer. Unfortunately with only 3 weeks left he'll probably fall 50 points or so short. Timing just not right... like Cena getting injured and costing me Punk last season.
Of course that suspension could still mean Hardy on TV just with no pay anyhow.

I doubt it. He dropped the title last night probably to specifically disappear from TV. He was removed from the MITB match at WM so there would be no reason to show him on TV.

c'mon Morrison!!! :) 40 points a week and sneak into MITB and it could just be enough.
Glad I gave up on the season at least now that Hardy's done anyway. I was thinking last night that with Taker likely winning the belt and being on both shows a few times I still had an outside chance.

Does anybody know who Mickie James pissed off?
She last appeared on TV 7 weeks ago when they were building a nice little storyline with Beth. She was unable to beat Beth each week individually and was showing visible frustration. She then scored a tag win over her in Week 16 and hasn't appeared since.
Yeah, I get that they needed Maria in a WM match. But why couldn't Mickie have been in it? Outside of Victoria she's the best female in the business.
Sometimes I just shake my head at the stupidity of the bookings. And its worse when you watch old video where they used to build toward storylines for 2 months before a PPV climax.
