Goldust +5+10 Honky Tonk Man +5+10+12+18+5 Steve Austin +10
- I've decided that Austin should get 10 points for guest refereeing. We give 5 points on TV for refereeing, same as interferance. So it makes sense that PPV officiating should be the same way. Let's make that change on the official rules.

The original scoring that was set up for this league back in the day is interesting.
Batista wins his title match. Triple H wins his title match.
Batista gets 112, Triple H gets 54.
Yeah yeah , I get it ... Batista is a new champ and lifted the belt off Jericho. So what. Sure it should be worth a little more than 54, I absolutely agree with that, but (taking out the main event points) to almost double the score of a another champ in an equal match? LOL ... ridiculous. Simply ridiculous. New champs should be worth 35 as opposed to 50, Or, retaining points should be 25 (half of new champs) instead of 12. I don't know.
My 2 cents :) Just Rude being Rude.

No way could retaining be 25. These guys defend their belt like every 3rd TV show. They would clean up and whoever had the champ would make a killing. Just can't be done that way.
p.s. I'll score Raw tomorrow from my dvr.

I would think that would be a core idea. Heh.

Back when we wrote it, World Title changes were a huge deal. Not something that happens very commonly......worthy of a huge number for a title change. Simple as that.
Trade for Finlay and be done with it ;-)

They are still a big deal. Most champs hold the belt for a few months at least. Can't be giving 25 per defense. It would make the league very lopsided.

HHH got that same big 50 point bonus when he became champion as well, so its a moot point. Just that you didn't have him then... Winning the title in a PPV main event is a big deal and scored accordingly.

But wait, The Nacho Man told me I was gonna finish in 9th place cause I only had 4 guys scoring! I STILL only have 4 guys scoring... that should all change very, very soon. I think I hear a Samoan Bulldozer warming up and a Hurricane a blowin'.... Be afraid.

I wasn't saying this because I have HHH, or because you are beating me ... or whatever. lol come on. I'm just saying if it were up to me, I would heavily tweak the scoring system. I already, at least, got the championship points changed where wrestlers were getting no extra points for being in a title match.

GO, I don't like Nacho Man much but at least he obviously showed you the light that you needed to go out and get Batista :)

I know, regardless of who has who. You just can't compare HHH normal defense to another guy "winning the big one" cause a couple PPV's it was the other way around for whoever... so it all balances out. Plus he wasn't even the main event, so obviously it skews that difference even more.
